Absolutely love Albert. Such a sturdy tripod. Allows me to get super low to the ground.
Great multipurpose travel tripod
I'm really liking my Albert Tripod from 3 Legged Thing. Folds up small and goes really tall. I been on a couple of hikes with it and have enjoyed it's small size and light weight. It is a little bit heavier than some other travel tripods that I looked at, but the potential to use the height as a lightstand and the removable monopod leg for those time I need a monopod, make this a great purchase.
Construction - Albert is precision engineered with aircraft-grade Magnesium Alloy and 3LT's own 100% Pure Stealth Carbon Fiber. 8 layers of tightly woven carbon, uniquely constructed without gimmicks or patterns for optimum weight to strength ratio.
Dynamic Range - Albert's unique, modular, triple-sectioned, 100% Pure, Carbon-Fiber center column enables this incredible tripod to extend from almost floor level to 70.5 inches (80cm), giving Albert the highest working range of any tripod in the world.
Paralock System - 3 Legged Thing's unique parallel locking system prevents accidental disassembly, and provides further stability and better grip. It also makes maintenance and general upkeep simple.
Modular Technology - 3 Legged Thing's unique, modular technology, enables users to utilize infinite configurations. The possibilities are extraordinary. Here are just a few of Albert's modular functions:
• Light Stand Mode - Albert is tall enough to use as a light stand, for both strobes and off camera flash. At this height, Albert also makes a useful stabilized Monopod (Tri-Mono mode).
• Macro Capability - The unique triple-sectioned centre column can be inverted, enabling users to raise the canopy height, whilst still lowering the camera to the floor. This gives unprecedented access to the camera controls, for optimum workflow.
