Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?DEMITRI R : I have the 3 Legged Thing Winston 2.0 tripod and wanted to ensure the legs were not scrapping up against rocks or buried in mud when out and about.Scott R : I don't want to put my Gitzo tripod legs in the mud or sand and Gitzo spikes won't fit. They didn't fit...wrong thread and shaft size even though it can adapt to two different shaft sizes.

I received the 3 Legged Things tripod spikes and they are fantastic! Solid stainless steel, nice and long so they will reliably anchor my expensive gear with confidence.
