I am happy so far!
This tripod is well built and still very light to pick up and carry. It makes me feel like a professional. Very smooth movement when shooting video. I am still getting used to all of the unique features but so far very happy with it. Will be traveling with it to Bermuda in a month so will have a better handle on how I really feel about it.

The Jay is a standout in this range, being one of the first hybrid photo/video products from 3LT.
Constructed from 100% pure, 8-layer carbon fiber, this levelling-base tripod is designed with the traveling photographer or videographer in mind. Its compact size, achieved through its 5-section legs, makes it easy to transport, while the friction control on the underside allows for fine adjustments of the levelling base. This feature is particularly useful for video makers and landscape photographers who often face challenging terrains and need smooth, fast setups.
The Legends Jay Tripod stands out with its 3 detachable legs, which can be converted into monopods or boom arms. With the addition of 3LT footwear (sold separately), the levelling base can be transformed into a foot stabilizer for the monopod. Remove the legs and add 3LT footwear, and you have a table-top or low-level tripod at your disposal.
This tripod also features 3LT's new Rapid Latch, an anodised mag-alloy leg latch with an auto engage lock. This design allows for quick and easy leg adjustments, even when wearing thick gloves. The new leg lock design comes with raised O-Pads for improved grip, leverage, and water dispersement. The internal locks have been engineered with a new type of Chicken Lips (shims) for greater strength, grip, and anti-rotation.
The package also includes the AirHed Cine Video Head and Arca-Swiss Compatible Video Plate. The AirHed Cine, 3 Legged Thing's first dedicated video head, is precision milled from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. It features a distinctive spiderweb design, an adjustable tilt mechanism for smooth movement, and a 360-degree panning base that can be locked off as required. The head also includes a 1/4"-20 screw thread for the attachment of accessories and built-in bubble levels in the clamp and base for precise levelling. The Arca-Swiss compatible mounting plate is made from anodised magnesium alloy and includes a 1/4"-20 Stainless Steel mounting screw, and rubberised pads for secure connection to camera bases.
