Constructed from 100% pure, 8-layer carbon fiber, this sturdy and durable tripod is designed to withstand the rigors of professional photography and videography. It features a unique levelling base system, with friction control on the underside for precise adjustments, making it an ideal choice for landscape photographers and video makers who often work on challenging terrains.
The tripod's three detachable legs can be used as monopods or boom arms, adding to its versatility. With the addition of 3LT footwear (sold separately), the levelling base can be converted into a foot stabilizer for the monopod, or the tripod can be transformed into a table-top or low-level tripod.
The Legends Mike Tripod also introduces 3LT's new Rapid Latch, an anodized mag-alloy leg latch with an auto engage lock for quick and easy leg adjustments, even when wearing thick gloves. The new leg lock design features raised O-Pads for improved grip, leverage, and water dispersement, while the internal locks are engineered with a new type of Chicken Lips (shims) for enhanced strength, grip, and anti-rotation.
The AirHed Cine Video Head, 3LT's first dedicated video head, is precision-milled from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. It features a smooth, adjustable tilt function with friction control, a 360-degree panning base with lock, and a knurled clamp knob for improved grip and leverage. The head also includes a 1/4"-20 screw thread for the attachment of accessories and built-in bubble levels in the clamp and base for precise levelling. The included Standard Video Plate, made from anodized magnesium alloy, ensures a secure connection to camera bases with its moveable stainless steel mounting pins and screws, and rubberized pads.
