Easy to carry and setup

Took it out for a trip to Death Valley. Easy to carry with me, quick to set up and adjust. I usually leave my other tripod at home because I dislike carrying it around and working with it to set up a photo. This one is a breeze to set up. The only issue I had was the screw connecting to the camera would loosen from time to time. Still haven?t figured out why, but it could just as easily been something I was doing. It?s a small inconvenience given how much I liked using the tripod.

Ray is the ultimate, ultra-compact, micro-travel tripod, pairing incredible portability with strength and stability. Part of 3 Legged Thing's new Legends range, Ray features not one but three detachable legs which can be used as monopods or boom arms. With the legs removed, Ray can be used as a table-top tripod by adding a set of 3LT's tripod footwear.

Ray is constructed from 8 layers of 100% pure carbon fibre and aerospace-grade magnesium alloy, and has a new design of leg and column locks. Externally new O-Pads give users improved grip, leverage, and water displacement.
