Constructed from aircraft-grade magnesium alloy, the Trent 2.0 monopod is precision-engineered for durability and stability. It features newly refined leg locks that offer improved grip and leverage. This is achieved through a unique combination of rubber pads and knurling, enhancing the monopod's overall stability and ease of use. Standing tall among its peers, the Trent 2.0 monopod reaches an impressive height of over 2 meters or 6.5 feet when fully extended. Extremely sturdy!  Holds the camera stable AF.  Doubles as a bludgeoning device for self protection!  Better than a baseball bat!  Extends just as easily as it retracts!  Easily screws into cameras of two different size screw ins without adapter plates.  Although a lil heavy, it's an Excellent buy!

steady, strong and easy to use.

Nearly a perfect monopod. Purchased for use with 400 f/2.8 lens (12 lb rig). Very tall at full extension, allows me (6'2") to comfortably use it even when it's planted in a divot, or I'm on a stool (or both!). 4-section design makes it quicker to extend and collapse than 5- or 6-section designs; it sacrifices some portability by being longer when fully collapsed and unable to fit in many bags, but it's still short enough for me to use when seated. Weight feels good/strong without being heavy. I encountered very little wobble when using it. Textured rubber grip at top feels much better and more secure than neoprene, especially in weather. Twist-locks are quick and secure. I do wish there was a way to lock out of place the outer spring-loaded 1/4" thread, but that's a minor issue as I don't have any particular problem using the 3/8" thread despite that. I can't imagine wanting anything more in a monopod of this weight class!
