Zayla PD is 3 Legged Thing's dedicated L-Bracket designed to precisely fit Nikon's Z 50 Camera and is Peak Design Capture v3 compatible.Designed in association with Nikon and precision milled from a single block of aircraft-grade alloy, Zayla PD gives full access to the battery door, memory card slot and side ports with the bracket secured in place.Zayla PD attaches to the Z 50 using a 1/4"-20 stainless steel Stagsden camera screw and features locator tabs which fit snugly around the base of the camera to prevent any twisting once the camera is secured to the L-bracket. Shaped cutouts give users easy access to the lens release button and tilting rear screen.Zayla PD features a geometric base which is compatible with Peak Design's Capture v3, and enables the base to be clipped into Capture in one of 4 directions. In addition the "shoe" is Arca Swiss compatible, so it can fit into any compatible clamp or head.For additional security when attached to a tripod, Zayla PD has a security screw located on the vertical side of the L-Bracket. Zayla PD's vertical and horizontal aspects both feature multiple 1/4"-20 screw threads for the attachment of accessories.Note: Please note ZAYLA PD is not compatible with the Nikon FTZ adapter.

I have a Z50. I needed an L-bracket. Being a light camera I use as a secondary, I wanted to carry it on my belt with a the Peak quick release clip. This is the only one I could find that was model specific, and Arca-Swiss compatible. As a bonus, it had the male potion of the Peak system built in!

At first, I was put off by the color, but came to like it as it made a contrasting difference between the camera, my Arca-Swiss tripod heads, and the Peak system when using them.

I fits snugly, has a lip that forces proper alignment with the camera that doesn?t interfere with swinging out the screen, has two screw ports for adding additional gear, and gives proper access to all ports. The Peak portion also works with my Arca-Swiss mounts. My favorite wrist strap attaches without interfering with use as an L-bracket. It does all I needed and more.

 My only complaint is that the bracket doesn?t have notches to mark the optical center of the portrait/landscape orientations.

It needed to work

Works beautifully with my Z50. Use it all the time for verticals in real estate photography - mostly for those narrow powder rooms.
