Very good product. I purchased the 8.8 lb version (lightest weight) and it is surprisingly robust. Heavy, solid, strong. Easy to adjust. Fantastic bargain for under $15.

Large and heavy, it's rock steady holding a DSLR with a long lens. Great price.

I own a bunch of these ball heads. I use them in my studio to attach cameras to various devises, C-stands, dollies, etc. I like the ease the fact that I can mount and un-mount a camera really fast, as well as adjust the aim easily. The one problem I have is that once the latch is secured, there is enough movement to be annoying as the shoe does not snuggly fit in its resting place. For the price, I can live with that.

Works well. My Manfrotto quick release plates are maybe 1 to 2 mm too large, and I had to buy extra QR plates for this ballhead.

Nice - works fine, but it would be better if the leveling bubbles were a bit bigger.

I really like the 3 Pod B-Series B1 ball-head, it's easy to adjust and locks securely. It fit really nicely on my travel tripod which is a Promaster XC525. The ballhead and tripod work with large, heavy SLR film cameras, securely locking in any position on windy days.

I really didn't need this head. I have a pan and tilt head for my tripod that has worked fine for many years (since the 70s). I had never tried a ball head and the price of this was so reasonable I decided to try it. My pan and tilt head is in my spare parts bag and may stay there for some time. I really like almost everything about this. It's only fault is having a 3/8" socket on the bottom. The directions say 3/8 is a common size for tripods. I say it isn't. I did, however build my own connector from 3/8 to 1/4 inch and it works fine.

Just purchased one of these. Surprised and very disappointed to find that what looked like a Monfrotto baseplate mount in the sale photos actually isn't. It is about 1/8 inch too narrow to accept and seat a real Monfrotto plate. This is not a problem if you have one camera, but I have 8 cameras and 3 tripods that all take Monfrotto plates. Having an oddball non-Monfrotto item that looks like a Monfrotto like this doesn't really fit very well into that gear collection. However, the actual ballhead assembly works fine.

This Ballbead is great for the price. I keep it mounted to my 3Pod Carbon fiber tripod/ monopod. The single lever system works really well once you get used to it.

Great little ball head for the low price. Five stars except for one thing: The photos will lead you to believe that the adaptor plate exactly matches the Monfrotto version and both plates could be used. Not so, the Monfrotto plate is about 1/16 inch wider. But I was able to grind a little metal from both edges of this unit and it will now tightly accommodate my existing Monfrotto quick change adaptor plates.

This was meant to replace a ball head with a missing screw. I will say that I love the build quality and LOVE the “quick change” aspect of it. Easily remove the plate!

I have only had the opportunity to use it a few times. But it is sturdy and does what I want. Good instructions also

This is a solid tripod head. There seems to be four sizes, and this is the second to largest. It can easily support my heavy DSLR Canon 7D with a 24-70mm USM L lens on it. It is very adjustable and all comes down to a single knob. The only caution I have is the way it tends to "eject" your camera when taking off the quick release. I guess they never want it to get stuck. I just know I should always be holding my camera when I release it.

3Pod B1 B Series Single Lever Travel Ball Head This is a solid, precision ball head. The ball tightens securely and holds my Fujifilm X-T2 body with the 3 pound 100-400mm lens very firmly. My only criticism is that it only has one slot in the housing that allows the camera to tilt down at a sharp angle to capture something near by on the ground or upwards. The head must be turned 180 degrees in order to shift from one position to the other which shifts the control of the locking lever from one hand to the other. It will still tip down at a somewhat shallow angle in any direction. My two other heads have a slot on each side.

Not having really run it thru the mill yet, but for all intents and purposes, it's going to work out fine. With the sale price, you really can't beat it. Giving you the flexibility to quickly change from landscape to portrait positioning. Everything locks down solid with ease. The only drawback, I'd of wished it'd been a "arca-swiss" style quick release plate, making for greater compatibility with other gear.
