This ball head with its mostly metal construction and attractive finish holds much promise, but unfortunately it will not hold a flashpoint R2 radio receiver - Nikon 910 flash combination at an angle (my intended use and which is really not that large or heavy). I think it would do well with a point-and-shoot camera but cannot recommend for anything much heavier.

Does not support much weight

Too small .. not what I thought I was getting .. I have another one that came with the mini tripod .. and thought this would be a match .. wrong .. it is smaller .. too small for my use .. that is why I wanted a match to the one I already had ..??

Too small

The 3Pod M-1 is a great product………but with limited utility.  I used it on my Canon 5D iv with a pancake lens & I was very satisfied. However, I doubt that it would work at all with a typical modern lens.  It features small size & light weight at the expense of broad utility. When you need small & light this is the head you want.

Small, light weight, & limited use.

I love it.  I use it on monopod/walking stick  easily changed from cover sharp screw top when ball at 90 degree to raise ball to a camera mount. Beautifully made.

It’s a must have for tri pod or monopod. Make position camera changes easy.

I would not trust this with a flash unit or something heavier like a AD200

Holds very light objects only
