About 8Sinn Cage + Handle
8Sinn cage allows various gear attachment without stressing your camera while giving you better camera handling, all at a budget price. Built of a rugged but lightweight one piece air aluminum, 8Sinn cage features multiple threaded 1/4" and 3/8" mounting holes as well as shoe mounts and an opening for an optional 15mm rod insert. There's also a slot for an optional hand strap. A 28mm rosette system allows quick removal of the Scorpio handle as well as 360deg positioning for maximum operator comfort. An included HDMI cable clamp prevents accidental cord pulling which can ruin your camera, and your day. The cage is designed to fit around the camera's shoe so as to allow mounting of camera-based shoe accessories such as the DMW-XLR1 XLR Microphone Adapter. The camera sits firmly inside the cage, resting on two small raised tabs to prevent twisting, without obstructing access to camera functions and battery and media doors.
