The AMCREST NVR kit is fantastic, plug and play is exactly what it is. If I did have any questions on the setup, their website has every answer you need for a successful setup and operation. So far no problems. Love the remote viewing from my iPhone.

I am really pleased with the system so far, the setup was really simple and practical, Sales Rep Amanda Lawson was very patient and guided me through the whole process. I wish this unity was more open to work with Smart hubs. Overall it was the best bang for the buck that I find out there. Definitely recommend their products.

One year ago I purchased an 8 channel 720p system which I left at the house moved from. At my new home I have the 8 channel 3MP system. I really like this system much better. I went with the POE cameras this time. Clarity is so that you can see leaves blowing in the wind. Amcrest does a wonderful job of packing the camera system. They are sturdy aluminum cameras. The e-mail setup and app live-view is great. I can see every corner of my house.

I've had other brands in other homes but these are just as easy if not easier to set up, quality hardware and the viewing app whether mobile or on your computer is very intuitive.

The information available and the videos really helped me figure out what I wanted to do. So far everything is working great. The online interface was easy. I'm terminating my own Cat 5 and I haven't even messed much of that up.

I'm at an average level of electronics knowledge and I was able to put this system together and watch the cameras on my phone in less than an hour. The setup is step by step and has been reliable so far. I have called with questions and the tech support has been able to answer my questions.

We bought these to replace our old canera system that died as a result of a major power surge. These were easy to set up and are easy to operate. We absolutely love the app that allows for viewing and controlling the system remotely. The peace of mind that comes with being able to monitor your your home or knowing when some is there from the motion detection is immeasurable. To be honest, I'm glad the old system died and we replaced it with this.

The purchase process was pretty smooth and we received the item within a reasonable time frame. The item seems to be as described. We have decided the installation job is more than we can handle, so we are working on lining up an electrician to install it. Unfortunately, this will run us an additional $420. I have only given 3 stars since I cannot at this point review the performance of the item since it is not yet installed.

My house was pre-wired for IP Cameras, so setup was simple. It took me an hour or so to locate & terminate each Cat 5 cable. Another 20 minutes per cameras to connect, install, and aim. The mobile app made aiming the cameras simple. Everything works great with the exception of one channel in the NVR. At various points in the day it just decides not to record on that channel. I have verified all settings, and its definitively configured properly. I have a question submitted so I will see how responsive customer service is soon. If they are able to resolve the issue my rating would improve...if not, it will be reduced to a 2 or less...What good is a great picture if it is not recording on the NVR.
