I absolutely love this light. The Aputure LS 60x has been such a game changer for my work, super reliable, easy to use, and incredibly versatile. The bi-color feature makes it so easy to adjust depending on the environment, especially when I'm moving between indoor and outdoor settings or working with mixed lighting. The output is powerful for its size, and the focusing ability gives me so much control over how I shape the light. It's also really well-built and portable, which is huge for me when I'm on the go for sessions and weddings. One of the best lights out there. Just wish it was bi color. But the bi color version cost waaaaay too much. Best two features: water resistant and the really good built in ellipsoidal lens acts like a Frensel.

In beatable for weddings or anything run n gun. It is ready to rip right out the box with a tough ingenious design and every adapter you could possibly need. At this wattage I think it is a much better investment over the Amaran unless your not moving the light ever. This light just gives you the confidence that it can handle any environment you need it in and it will get er done every time.

It?s a really versatile light with a ton of features packed in. The built-in fresnel lens and multiple power options that come included with the light are incredibly useful. You don?t have to buy additional battery adapters for this, which is just so convenient. The build quality is also super solid and feels great to use. My only complaint in that regard is the dangling cable that?s attached to the light, which can sometimes get in the way but that?s pretty minor. The light is fairly slim and lightweight so it?ll fit on most light stands as long as you don?t put heavy modifiers on it. The output is also not crazy, although it is very impressive for being a 60w fixture. I would say that it?s comparable if not a little bit brighter than my amaran 100d, although I would need to test that a bit more. I?ve seen other reviews compare the output to 300w fixtures, but I?m not sure how accurate that is. Overall, I am very happy with the amount of features that are packed into this light.

Wonderful light to punch up faces outdoors, thanks to the focusing. Solidly built. I like the angle adjustment that locks it in; it will stay where you position it. Love the D-tap option for power since I can use it with big gold mount batteries. I bought an extension cable, though, since the included D-tap cable has its length limit. The case is nicely made and a good size. I bought 2 of these and one had a finicky power switch which, of course, acted up on the first shoot I took it on. Adorama replaced the unit, but it's why I can't give this 5 stars. Hoping it holds up.

Excellent light for a multitude of applications. I bought this light for my YouTube productions, but I have also used it on some small documentary projects. This thing is versatile, lightweight, and a workhorse. The Sideus app is a must as it makes dialing in settings a breeze.

This is the second one I purchased. The first one had to be replaced bse the power button stopped working thought. Other than that, this light is great, versatile, portable, great color rendering and very powerful for its size! We use 2 for doing news live shots and they work great! Also, the different power options it comes with and the case are a very good plus!??

This is a great light for small purposes. It allows a gaffer or DP to save larger lights for larger setups such as mimicking sun and room ambience. This little guy is perfect as a hair light, slash, scratch, splash or accent light. The intensity is impressive. The build quality puts other brands and models such as the Nanlite 60 and Genaray Torpedo to shame. Solid build. The spot/flood feature is spot on, oun intended. One drawback is the locking knuckle is a rossett so you will be locking within groves, meaning you won't get precisely the angle you desire. Second quality I think is a shortfall is the lock for the barndoors isn't snug so the barndoors can rotate rather easily. However, I have spun the lamp and turned it around to see if the barndoors would slide out of place and so far nothing of concern. This is just an observation to keep in mind as I think overtime the rotation will become frequent. The locking heading cable and locking AC to DC comverter cable are a farcry from previous units and definitely a welcome.

Best little lights! These things are built like tanks. I use 2 of them in wedding videos during speeches and dances. And have used them as a hair light for an interview. They are surprisingly powerful. For wedding videos. I have had my cameras at 800 ISO with lenses at 2.8 24fps shutter angle 180 degrees and the Aputure 60ds at 12% and it looks crispy. There is so much power from these lights. And they are small. I run a 98wh v Mount on them and it runs the whole night, over 6 hours straight. Just get them.

No need to walk to light panel and trying to control the light ? it?s 2021? get with the times and download the app to control all the features this light setup has to offer.

I mainly wanted this light to use for weddings and I think the features it has make it one of the best lights for this use especially. For one, it has multiple power options. You can use V-Mount, Sony NPF batteries or wall power, with the adapters included in the case for each option. I love being able to focus the light to spot as well, super handy for controlling where the light goes. Finally, the bi-color option is great too. I always try to match the lighting to that of the environment and being able to do this quickly and even from your phone is super handy. I can?t wait to have a network of these and just control them from my phone. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic light. Great throw. Power button sometimes just doesn?t work. You have to unplug the light and plug it back in but then it works fine. I have the problem on all 4 of mine and my friend has it on all 4 of his.

This light is the came tv boltzen 55 ON STEROIDS. it’s actually better than an arri 125 because just as bright and well made but no ballast to manage and the option to battery power. Aputure is the shit. Accept no substitutes.

This has fast become one of my favorite light fixtures, i liked it as soon as I took it out the box, and loved it even more when using on location. Like every Aputure product not only is the price extremely reasonable, it is very well thought out in terms of practicality and usage. It compares to products that are significantly more expensive, and literally everything you’d need with the exception of batteries comes with the kit. They could easily have made the D-Tap cable a $30 or even $50 add on, but it was a pleasant surprise to find it included along with the other accessories. I genuinely can’t find fault with this light, I recently lit a whole scene with just two of them, surprisingly powerful and extremely versatile.
