super bright!! Great light if you need some powerful daylight. This is the ok lder model so doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of the new one but practically just as good.

These lights are amazing! Had done great but very hot lights before and replaced them with the 300. Not hot at all. Love the remote control. The fan in the power supply can be heard but it doesn’t show up in production and cables are long enough to have it far away

Amazingly powerful light. First time I have owned a "hot light' as I am a photographer and have been using strobes for a long time. I love this light and want to add another but may have to wait till the next cyber sale.

I needed to replace my 1000W tungsten light that literally blew out and caught fire. Some kind of short, who knows. Either way I was looking for an LED solution that could match to or at least come close to the level of brightness as my tungsten. I use this light 99% for video shoots (small hall, some speakers on stage doing their presentations, etc) nothing crazy just simple. Anyway this light is fantastic. its super bright, runs very quiet even with the 2 fans at full power. It's great that it comes with a carry case, has plenty of length of cable. I got it with Aputure's barn doors for better spread control and works great.

This continuous light is bright. I thought Aputure 300d would be twice as bright or more then Aputure 120d but 300d was not. 300d is only 30% brighter from my test. I wasn't going buy this for the original price till the price dropped. then I was sold. If the stat on Aputure 120d mark 2 is 30% brighter then Aputure 12d mark 1 then 120d mark 2 should be close to 300d and 120d is cheaper, consume less energy and come with extra feature. So get 120d mark 2 instead, imo. I still like my 300d for the price

Lots of power and great quality of light. Love the build of the unit, but wish the remote and ballast where incorporated to cut down on things that hang on the light or near ground.

Great package, highly recommended. Light output is super bright and clean. Manufacturing on all parts is also top notch. The only complaint I have are the two large bricks required for power. Luckily, if you are using battery power, only one is required. But if you are plugging into a wall outlet, you have to use both, but there is plenty of cable. I wish they were consolidated into one unit. The carrying case is also really nice and everything fits flush, but there's not really much extra space for batteries or modifiers. Great light so far after a few uses.

Hard to decide whether to get this or the 120D. The 120D has more bells and whistles, but with a diffuser, you need the 300D hands down. At least I will and I'm not doing large shoots. Performs excellent. In love with this thing.

This light was pretty amazing for us. We did a 10x10 film challenge with 3 days to shoot. Each day had multiple locations. The auto stand it came with in the kit was weird to get used to at first but in a while it was perfect since I was constantly changing positions with it. We used 2 V-Mount batteries the entire shoot which was between 7pm and 2am. It lasted the entire time as long as we turned it off in between. The Bowen’s mount makes swapping reflectors a breeze. The bag was spacious enough to hold the fresnel lens I bought for it by putting it inside the stock reflector and the space light stoarage bag fot as well. I plan to get an LS 120D and 120T as soon as I can. This is my primary light from now on. Love it!

The light is extremely bright and is useful to me as someone who is asked constantly to shoot interviews that take place in someone's office, right next to a huge window. I also like the fresnel attachment. If you shoot every day and you need that intense spot (and you can afford it), I would still go HMI but this thing is going to work just fine for me 99% of the time and I think the price is worth it, especially when there get to be some used units on the market. I'll pick up another one when I can. That said, I don't quite get how they made their design decisions. There's a light controller that isn't attached (so you don't have to climb up to the light?) and all it really does is dim. There's no temperature adjustment (which is fine). Then further down the cable there's a power supply, which I guess is separate from the dimmer because . . . cheaper to make than a single unit? And there's also a point where you actually have to plug a cable into another cable, which I think is just nonsense. So it works great, but I need a couple extra minutes to mess with it and get all the ballast-like pieces secured and safe, etc. Would rather it was a little quicker, simpler, and safer.
