Great paper. We use it for colored pencil and pastel art reproduction. Make sure you use the correct profiles!

I purchased this paper on sale after having the company be recommended by my local lab. I can compare it to other papers from paper sample packs from Moab, Red River, and Hahnemuhle. For reference I am printing on a Canon Pro-10 Paper feel: A nice thick paper with substantial heft and resistance to bending. The surface has a decent feel but is not soft and supple like some of the other cotton papers. Surface: Its a one sided paper. Don't get confused about which side is which as you might not ever figure it out after removing it from the box. It is very smooth. I wish it had a bit more texture to give it a bit more interest. A bit more texture would give it a higher end look, but this is a matter of personal choice. This is smooth than Moab Entrada, wich I love. Packaging: Really impressed with the packaging. Comes in an oversized box with a 1.5" cardboard "crush" zone surrounding it. Arrived perfectly even though the shipping box was beat up. Printing: Here's where the rubber meets the road. I tried downloading the ICC profile for this paper. I noticed it had you printing using the matte photo paper setting. On the Pro-10 this causes the printer to use the photo black ink instead of the matte black. This is obviously done because Canon has stupid auto print margins when printing with fine art papers and this will let you print full bleed. This first print was nice, but overall lacked the pop and contrast of the same print done on moab entrada using the fine art paper setting. I reprinted using the same profile but this time changing the paper type to "other fine art paper 1". I also dialed up the contrast to +3. In LR I also turned the sharpening setting to standard matte. The resultant print was much much much better with popping blacks and much better sharpness and definition in the shadow areas. Magenta tint: Not sure what is going on but it seems that prints on this paper have a slight magenta tint to them. I plan on dialing that back for the moment as well. Custom profiling: My guess is that this paper could use a new custom profile using the fine art paper setting. Overall I'm happy about this paper as it was a great value on sale. I find it very comparable to Moab entrada. However If I had to go with one paper I would probably stick to Entrada as I like the paper feel, texture, whiteness, and profile better. Hope this nerdy in depth review helps someone.
