I have been hearing about these for years and how great they were compared to everything else for the price point. It's true, as a frequent traveler these are great. Hard to wear around your neck while traveling when they are not on, but that's about it. The noise cancelling is awesome and the sound quality is fantastic. I chose these over the new (ii) version because the only difference is the google talk capabilities. So if that's not important to you, then grab these.

I was hoping that the Bose Quietcomfort 35 headphones would allow me to work out in a very noisy gym room full of machines and people without hurting my ears. I had been using in ear Shure earphones which were not doing that job. I listen to audiobooks so it's really no good to miss words and sentences. So, of course, I raise the volume. The Bose are better but it may be that the situation is impossible. After the New Year's resolutions wear off and it's quieter it'll be better.

Bose is the still the premier provider of noise cancelling headphones. Sony is getting close, but no one else is. These are fantastic.

I purchased these headphones as a way to focus during medical school board prep via listening to lectures and study music without getting distracted by outside noise. They have worked great so far. I find them to be comfortable, even after 5+ hours of use and they do a fantastic job of blocking out noise. They charge quickly and battery life is great as well. 5/5, would recommend.

Worked as described for 6 months. Then the technicality - little green LED stayed lit and drained the battery when switched OFF within 24 hours. Now the Fine Print - the Bose service person refused to repair the headphones unless I had a serial number. Naturally this was missing the label which is supposed to be stuck inside the earpiece. All in all a miserable experience even though it has to be plugged in 24/7 it otherwise works fine.

Great comfort, best pair of headphones I have owned. Bluetooth was easy to setup. Sound quality is pretty good, but the noise canceling does sometimes leak some noise back in if you tilt your head.

These headphones have the best noise cancellation compared to competitors and is the most comfortable. Don't expect amazing sound from them though -- sound quality is only okay. Bluetooth work pretty flawlessly.

This headset exceeded my expectations and I think it is worth every penny I paid for it. The noise cancellation is so superior to my old Jabra headset that I am amazed daily. For example, I had a loud fan running recently, and the Bose headset completely removed the sound leaving not a murmur. The BlueTooth works perfectly and pairing the headset with my phone, tablet and PC was easy. I have not kept track of hours in use, but it appears that the battery life will be fine for me.

I used these headphones recently on a series of 6 flights of varying lengths and found the noise cancellation functionality to be excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was able to fall asleep on a couple of very busy flights. The music performance is a bit weak. Not that they sound bad, but for the money I think they should be better. I also had intermittent problems with skips (blank spots) in the music that was not present with my ear buds. I haven't been able to resolve that issue yet.

If you spend a lot of time on airplanes, you probably already know the value of good noise cancelling. The new QC35's are very comfortable and having no cord is fantastic when you need to move around.

Received the Bose Q35 headphones and the noise cancelling was terrific and the sound great. It connected via Bluetooth to my devices very well. My next flight a few days later, I was going to use them to watch a movie. The cable input jack did not work. It had a screeching sound as if the connection was loose. Moved the cable out then in fractions of a millimeter but then the Bluetooth connection message would sound or the movie audio would go silent. Attempted to try the cable with my iPod, but that didn't work as well. Adorama was terrific and had me send it back for a refund. I have subsequently re-ordered another. Hope it was just a fluke defect. Will let you know with the other one.

these are really awesome. There are some bluetooth devices that have problems connecting with numerous devises. These are great, they are paired with my computer and my Iphone and I have yet to have a problem. Sounds great, though there are some instances where music seemed to be filtered in a strange way. Just the sound was odd. These are very comfortable and you can wear them for a longtime, before they become uncomfortable.

Over the years I've been using my old QC3, I always wanted a good NC headphone that loses the wire. Finally Bose has an answer, the noise cancellation is improved, Bose delivered what they promised to be the "improved static noise in the air" and created an enhanced noise cancellation experience. The Bluetooth connection is very easy to set up and once established it remains stable, the best thing about the connection is that it allows me to pair my macbook and my phone at the same time which is really convenient. The qc35 will surely make my flight more enjoyable than ever.

Bose qc35. Good quality, solid build. Come with a convenient box to protect them while travelling/stuffing then into your back pack, etc. Noise cancelling works the best I've experienced. Not 100% but still the best. This is what bose is famous for. The sound quality is what makes me drop one star (a bit too heavy/rich bass) It is actually quite good, but not as good I would've wanted for throwing in this much money. On the other hand it is better than i exppected as i feel bose usually is not one of the best in this sence. Would I buy these again? Yes I would. They are still great.

Had the QC35's for about 2 weeks now and have been very pleased with them overall. The Bluetooth operation has been flawless. A little bit of a learning curve on connecting multiple devices. The instructions say that you could do so through the switch on the side. However I was unable to do so without going through the app. Once I got that figured out there were no issues. My only disappointment was with the wired operation. The sound quality during corded operation seems muted and not as clear.

My new QC35s are everything I came to expect from my QC25s but without the annoyance of a wire. As an added bonus I feel that sound quality has improved and even the noise cancelling is every so slightly more effective. The main event however is the wireless which despite a few rare hiccups has worked solidly with my iPhone 6s Plus.

Very nice and comfortable. Quiets room noise very well. Can wait to test the battery life to see if it holds as long as they say, which is a LONG TIME. Great service from Adorama too. Thanks.

The best from Bose just got wireless
Bose spent 40+ years of research in pursuit of the best noise cancellation in the world. Then they obsessed about making it wireless. The result: QuietComfort 35 wireless headphones. Free yourself from wires and connect easily to your devices with Bluetooth and NFC pairing. Volume-optimized EQ gives you balanced audio at any level, while a noise-rejecting dual-microphone system provides clear calls, even in windy and noisy environments.
These are Bose's best headphones. In making them wireless, they had one goal: Seamlessly merge Bluetooth and Bose's Acoustic Noise Cancelling technology together with no compromise to the technologies or the audio performance they're known for. Try them for yourself then try to live without them.
Music sounds better
You turn them on, and noise instantly fades away. Your favorite songs soar to new heights, sounding so rich and clear you might feel like you're hearing them for the very first time. It's magical to the ear but it's not magic. It's the precise arrangement of microphones inside and outside the earcups. It's proprietary electronics that continuously measure, compare and react to outside noises. And it's the electronics sending an equal and opposite signal to the earcups' speakers to cancel those noises. All so you can enjoy the music you love or the silence you need.
Exceptionally strong battery life
It's thought that battery life suffers with wireless headphones. Bose changed that way of thinking. How? By customizing the size and shape of their lithium ion battery to optimize the space available in the earcup all without compromising fit or comfort. You now enjoy up to 20 hours while using the headphones wirelessly, a significant duration for wireless headphones. You also get up to 40 hours for wired use.
Quiet sounds quieter
The electronic noise floor is another obsession for Bose. A headphones' noise floor is that soft hiss you might hear when listening in quiet environments. Because that noise is measurable, they continuously tweaked the electronics in QC35 headphones until that soft hiss became virtually undetectable.
Premium materials for all-day comfort
Materials matter. That's why the QC35 headband isn't just soft, it's luxurious. Wrapped in Alcantara, the soft covering material used by prestigious international companies in various applications like yachts and high-end automobiles, it provides a welcome comfort designed for all-day listening. The ear cushions are manufactured from a synthetic protein leather and contain a silicone bead for passive noise reduction.
Lightweight and durable? How?
The perception is lightweight headphones are made of plastic and easily broken. So Bose doesn't use plastic. They use glass filled nylon that provides for a lightweight feel but a high level of durability. These headphones also have strong finishing touches. Stainless steel is used for the headband spring and pivots to ensure the headphones are durable enough for everyday use.
Easy control
Connecting to Bluetooth devices and switching between them say, from your iPad to iPhone when a call comes in is now delightfully easy. The free Bose Connect app manages all connections with an intuitive graphic interface. Once paired with multiple devices, the headphones will switch between them automatically whenever you want. The app also provides software updates, product tips and even lets you personalize your settings.
