I bought the pair over a year ago, and they still provide me the same amazing comfort. The memory foam is too good, and they're so light you hardly notice they're there. Audio quality is top notch and the detachable cable rarely gets tangled. The headphones are not built for outdoor use and they'll be damaged if you use them when running or even going out in the sun. Best suited for indoor usage. I've had to change the memory foam cups because of the damage. If you're looking for a pair of amazing headphones for mostly indoor use, go for it. For everyday usage, I recommend you buy a secondary pair of in-ear headphones.

Bought these on sale recently........first set of over-ear headphones in quite a while. Tried a few different brands on in the store for fit and sound quality. Previous over-ears have been uncomfortable to wear for long periods. Came back to these and couldn't beat them on comfort, sound and price! Glad with the purchase and am already looking at the noise-cancelling set as an upgrade!

I got this headphone as a gift from my friends and have been using it for about 3 years. They are good headphones with nice sound quality but after 3 years of use they have started wearing out. They still sounds good but I would like Bose to improve the material quality.

I bought these headphones thanksgiving of 2015 and i've had these ever since. I've had 3 other pairs of headphones before these and the one that lasted the longest out of the 3 lasted at least 5 months. My bose have lasted me over a year and i will always from now on buy headphones from bose. They are in my opinion the best headphone company. The only thing i don't like about the headphones is because they're starting to get some wear and tear around the edges of the headband. But considering what they go through in one day i am not surprised. It doesn't bother me that much honestly. Another thing that bothers me is that their products are kinda expensive. But honestly worth it. I'd say do more research before purchasing ANY of their products. But i do recommend these for every day, on the cheaper side headphones by this company.

I'd been looking for better headphones for my Android phone for a long time. The standard earbuds just won't stay in my ears. I wear glasses as well so some headphones cause pressure points in my ears which I want to avoid. I also wanted a protective case for commuting. Finally, some headphones just don't work with Android phones - I had a good set of old Nokia headphones that worked with my old N8 but not with my Samsung. So being Samsung compatible was important. I looked at Sennheiser headphones but theirs seemed a bit flimsy compared to Bose. Further research led me to Bose for Samsung phones. I also considered Sport model headphones because I have a sauna and like to listen to music during a sauna session, so something waterproof was a consideration. Again, the Sport models were all in ear which potentially could fall out so I decided against this. I requested the SoundTrue as a gift, it was easy to get and small enough to travel from the gift giver in the USA to me in Australia. They're high quality, comfortable, and work, without spending a lot of money. My next phone will probably be a Samsung so these'll carry over. Also, there's just one cord which can be unplugged.

I bought it when it was half price for black friday. The cable connector was not working properly after 1 day use. Bose is sending me a replacement but will have to see how it turns out. Sound quality is average.

I got these for Christmas. I wore them for a few minutes on Christmas day and then today, four days later, i used them for about 2 hrs. While listening i was putting on a scarf, some how this caused the right ear to stop producing sound. This is ridiculous, not even 1 week old and they're already broken. They were expensive and i was finally looking forward to having a pair of quality lasting headphones that i could trust. But to be honest im not surprised because there were so light weight.

I just received this for my main christmas present and the wire/connection port is faulty, not happy at all, this problem should have been spotted, i'm an avid fan of bose and this is very disappointing.

I got these less then a week ago and i cam amazed at the sound quality these produce. on my S4 mini the sound is great but is a little quiet for me but when plugged into my DAC these sound incredible. They are also the most comfortable headphones i have ever used, i can easily use them hours at a time. the only thing i have a problem with it the build, well they are made from a durable plastic i dont like the fact of how much they bend and twist, they just feel like there going to break. lastly when putting on the headphones they do block out alot of sound but at about half volume on my S4 they start to leak alot of sound.

I love the noise cancellation and sound quality on Bose SoundTrue around-ear headphones. I have always gone with Bose for comfort and sound quality, and would have given these 5 stars if it wasn't for the cable. Two months after I got them, the cable broke! Which is so surprising and disappointing because I've never had that happen before with any Bose headphones I've owned, or any other headphones for that matter. And I've spent more on them then I've ever spend on a pair of headphones. I can't use them without the cable and I'm back to using my old Sony headphones until I figure out what to do.

I bought these headphones about 3 months ago. there not falling apart AMAZING SOUND low bass and use them every day. I say that these headphones are worth the money. I recently went on a 17 hr trip and wore them for about 8 or 9 hrs straight and wasn't in any discomfort.

So i purchased these yesterday and refunded them today. I did burn them out and use them for about 8-10 hours total yesterday, and the first thing that i hear coming out of these headphones is everything but base. The mids and lows are great but the base is really rather smooth and quiet. I am a base lover, buying bose i think i would not get a lot of base but i thought that i could sacrifice it for the crisp and clearness of the headphones. However thats not exactly what happen. Even after the 10 hours the headphones were still producing little to no base and was not perfectly crisp either. Overall the sound is what made me refund them. Did not sound the quality i expected and i am pretty disapointed. However the headphones were by far the most comfortable pair of headphones on the market, and the best looking as you wear them. For the price i feel it is a little overpriced for me, but thats just my opinion.

I have had these for around 4 months now. I hear my music with so much more clarity than ever before. I listen to rock and metal mostly and the headphones deliver so much punch in the guitar riffs, bass, drums and vocals. Its a truly immersive experience, something I have never experienced before in a pair of headphones. I honestly sat grinning when I first used them. I also think they look amazing. A very sleek comfortable design, and the padded carry case helps keep them safe in my bag while I cycle into work. Although not active noise cancelling, the passive cancelling is still really good. Turn the volume up and you hear nothing of the outside world.

Disclaimer: This review is on the original soundtrue around ear headphones not the 2nd generation. The headphones I purchases were very nice with clear and pleasant sound but they had a manufacturer problem. Bose resolved the issue. With bose's awesome service and products why would I not recommend bose to my family and friends? Bose is truly an amazing company and I hope they do not lose their vision and quality of products.

These headphones do not have the best sound quality of the headphones I own. I have 2 pairs of Sennheisers and ATHM50x from Audio Technica as well. The Soundtrue really blew me away. I haven't ever been a Bose fan but the comfort, sound quality and general appeal of these headphones meant they took the spot of my most used set from my Sennhesier Momentums. I'm really impressed, smooth large sound range, not the best mids but the bass is warm and feels great compared to flatter headphones. My favorite feature of these headphones seeing I where them for over 5 hour periods is their comfort. The comfort is unmatched, really after having so many headsets over time I have never tried a lighter, more comfortable headphone around my ears. Great job, beautiful design, and a real improvement in sound quality for Bose, I will be more in touch with their products from here on out.

I had heard good things about Bose, but I was disappointed with this product. For such a pricey set of headphones, I expected a great quality of sound, but I feel like I've previously owned better headphones for quarter of the price, and with these I have to keep the volume way down so as not to annoy my fellow morning commuters. I knew I would be using my soon to be purchased Bose headphones roughly 50% of the time with my Ipod/Ipad, and 50% of the time with my Android phone. I decided on buying the model, Bose says is designed for Apple products. I don't understand what would be the major difference between that and the one made for Samsung/Android products. My phone has the Beats Audio driver installed. These Bose headphones sound unbelievable when listening to music on my Android phone, with the Beats Audio active and the volume between 40% - 60%. It also sounds crisp and clear and accurate when using my Ipod Touch or Ipad (3rd Gen), With Equalizer turned off, as it should be. But, the to hear it at any reasonable volume. The volume level has to be turned up really high. like 85% - 95%. With some older sourced music, all the way up to Max. All any of the equalizer settings does, is limit and change the sound quality to substandard. And, as stated earlier this is with the Bose model branded as Apple device compatible.

I have owned Bose products before, and that is why I wanted to try these headphones, and they did not disappoint. I did my research on many different brands, and decided on these because of my past experience with Bose products. I would recommend these headphones to anyone !!! I've always enjoyed the sound of the Bose stereo system in my car. Just recently I received the SoundTrue headphones as an anniversary gift. I was impressed with the sound but felt they could be louder. On a business flight I wanted to watch a movie on my phone but unfortunately I couldn't hear. The headphones are not loud enough. I guess the noise cancellation isn't as good as other models?
