I got these headphones for Christmas & I sent an email to Bose asking how/where could I send theses to be fixed . There was a shortage in my left ear ... ended up throwing these in the trash & buying beats ... You pay this kinda money for things not lasting

These headphones have fantastic sound quality and the fit is to a T. However, the headphone plug tends to weaken and break at the 45 degree angle (I've owned 3 and thankfully purchased insurance). If you corrected this design these headphones would be 5/5 for sure

I consider myself an audiophile. I love music and I love to be able to hear all of the depth, intricacy, and nuance that music can deliver!!! That is why for shorter periods there is nothing that rivals an over the ear headphone - Oh, but the times they are a changin'. Bose ear buds surpass all others in terms of comfort and quality. Firstly, let me start with the sound quality - Excellent. Deep rich base without sacrificing or flattening the treble or midrange. The sound is complex and rich. I have tried at least 15 different pairs of high quality ear buds over the years and nothing gives me the pleasure and joy of a Bose pair of in ear headphones. Additionally, I love to use my ear buds in making phone calls. With ear buds that wedge in the canal you can feel like your voice is reverberating around your head when you are on a phone call. Not with Bose. Because the bud is kept in place by a soft silicone fin you can hear your on voice on a phone call and that is also a very pleasurable experience. Now of comfort - I agree whole heartedly with Maggie S's review. The bud fits nicely in the canal and sits there snuggly and securely with the assistance of a soft silicone flap the slips into the curvature above the canal. It doesn't hook the ridge like the i sport - it pushes against the inner curvature of the ear and just keeps it snuggly and comfortably where it is supposed to be. Of course I probably don't need to mention that the in ear design allows of hours of comfortable listening. I don't know about you but over the ear headphones begin to bother me after an hour or so - I know nobody is talking about me but why are my ears burning - Oh, because you have cans on your ears thats why!!! Any way take my word if you are an audiophile and a comfortphile like yours truly you just cannot beat these In-Ear headphones!

I have had these delivered today 5/4/16 after my iPhone standard earphones broke!!! So impressed with the sound the product goes beyond my expectations, would highly recommend!!!

I purchased a Soundwave CD player and these headphones came free which was an excellent bonus!! The sound quality is truly excellent for such a small headphone, I would highly recommend these.

I've spent far too much on over priced over hyped in ear headphones over the years and I use them to destruction while I travel and work all over the world. With both my wife and daughter using their Bose in ear on a daily basis, and having done so over a two year period, each, without the need to replace, I decided to give these a go for myself. Wow .... Clarity, mid range, fit, form and function are all of 5 star quality for less than half of what I've paid for "mid range IEM's. I don't think there will be a rush from me to spend large wads of cash to replace these in a hurry Fantastic earphones that perform waaaaay ahead of their price tag

I recently purchased a couple of pairs of bluetooth earbuds that were designed just as these Bose Buds are, and as I have small ears and matching ear canals, earbuds were never comfortable for me, that is, until now. The super soft silicone is designed to slightly enter the canal at the same angle of the canal itself, (what an idea, I mean, who knew?!?), thereby giving the wearer superior comfort as well as sound isolation. But,that's not all, (now how much would you pay!?), the soft silicone extends in a curving "hook" like shape, and as that is also the shape of the ear immediately outside the canal, this allows the earbud to rest snugly and comfortably in the ear, preventing the earbud from slipping out of the ear. Previously, I couldn't wear earbuds for 20 minutes before they became too uncomfortable, but these beauties I can, and do, wear for hours. This is truly an amazing and wonderful design, and being Bose, no doubt they offer stellar sound!

I purchased these headphones to replace my old in ear-ones that had finally bitten the dust, after years of shoving them into purses, pockets, and backpacks, letting them get hopelessly tangled and tugging them apart. I did my research and settled on these as a good pair that I would be able to use to listen to music and maybe even as I work out. I purchased them at Target and put them to use immediately. The sound quality was fantastic, and they were super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I could wear my sunglasses and glasses with them in and not get any skewed vision from crooked glasses or the headaches I'd get from wearing glasses and over-ear headphones. I was gentle with them, as well. I put them in the carrying case, didn't let them get tangled, didn't shove them in my back pocket, etc. Then, just ten days after I bought them, I noticed that the rubber had started to crack and tiny slivers had fallen off, exposing the wires. And as frustrating as it is to realize that my brand-new headphones are looking as frayed as the ones I decided to replace (with these), it is even more frustrating when they stop working entirely. There is no sound coming out of any device that I have tried through these headphones. They are broken. Less than two weeks after purchasing them. I have a pair of over-the-ear headphones by Bose that I absolutely love. To say that I am disappointed and frustrated is mild. I understand that wear and tear is to be expected when using a product, but this kind of tearing shouldn't happen less than two weeks after purchasing. My other Bose headphones have lasted several years under much harsher conditions and more abusive scenarios (curling the cord around the headphones, allowing the cord to become tangled, tossing the whole thing into my purse/bag/backpack) without showing the same kind of damage these have in under two weeks. This is not the quality nor the standard that I have come to expect from Bose. These are cheaply made and incredibly perishable. I have read reviews here saying that for all the comfort and the sound quality, they too have found their durability incredibly lacking.

I am about to buy my third pair of headset, plus I had one with the microphone which broke down pretty soon. All of them have the same problem: Very weak cable. I don't understand why they can't fix this issue. Other than that, the sound is unbeatable. I recently bough headset from another well known brand...no compare and plus don't fit as well as Bose does.

I bought this product about a year ago expecting it to last, unfortunately I have lost almost all sound in the right ear piece. This is my second pair, and I took pains to ensure that the cords were not pinched or abused. I thought that the "Bose" product would have better quality.

I have been using pair of in-ear headphones for a while but recently both cable torn off see visible mark in the photos. Disappointed with second ear phones from Bose having same issues. Quality of the ear phone is good but if we had not had this problem its worth having in the bag.

After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase a pair. the best part of these headphones are the way they fit and stay in your ear. But yet they do not go down in the ear and seal in the ear canal. So the bass and treble are terrible especially if you have any outside noise like mowers or cars. My Klipsch earphones sound much better, but don't stay in nearly as well.

I've had these for just under a year and took good care of them. While they sound good, the build quality is not so hot. To sum it up, the cable connection near the jack died suddenly. Which would be OK if I were Vincent van Gogh, but I'm not. And one ear's worth of decent sound is not worth the price.

These headphones were bought for me as a gift last Christmas and although I wanted the noise cancelling version I am very pleased with these excellent headphones. They are very comfortable and produce a great sound for every style of music.

I bought the sound true in ear headphones in a lovely red colour. I usually have trouble wearing in ear headphones but these are an excellent fit. The sound is excellent as you would expect from Bose. I use them whilst out walking and they are brilliant.

Let's get this straight. People shouldn't hate Bose. They have great sound quality, decent build quality, and overall, are a good company. However, for the headphones with the StayHear ear tips; ie. SoundTrue, Freestyle, and SoundSport, these ear tips do nothing to provide noise isolation. Noise isolation means the amount of noise cancelled out by just the ear tips, NOT batteries. I was very excited to get these, and I was a bit let down. However, try the StayHear+ ear tips, because they will take out some of the outside noise.

After writing a lengthy review, only to have my review get stuck in the "submitting review" wait cycle for 10 minutes after hitting the submit button, I'm writing this again.I'm going to say right off the bat, I love these headphones. The reason I bought them is because of your home audio system I have from Bose. I couldn't ask for better sound clarity from either. However, I purchased my first pair of these headphones years back and did a LOT of snowboarding with them. I noticed before the end of the season, the rubber wire material started to crack-dry rot-degrade. First I noticed it along the length of the wire, then it started happening right where the wire meets the ear-bud casing. I figured it was because I abused the snot out of them with the harsh conditions (cold-wet sometimes-strained when face planting into the snow-ice). So, I picked up another pair.Determined I wasn't going to fork out the cash for another 3rd set of headphones, I made sure I took good care of the 2nd pair I bought. I only use them at my desk and they get loosely coiled and get put back into their case at the end of the day. Well, the 2nd pair started to do the same thing, but this time it took about a year and a half.I understand now Bose might have come out with some sort of strain relief up where the wire meets the ear-bud casing, but what about the rubber speaker wire material itself? I'm unsure about picking up a 3rd pair, if they aren't going to last and I'm not sure I fall under warranty anymore, since they both are obviously past the 1 year period.I wouldn't have a second thought about rating these headphones 5-stars, but I'm not completely sold on the wire materials longevity.

I received a pair of SoundTrue headphones as a gift, and they are wonderful, especially the manner in which they fit your ear. After a couple of months fairly gentle use the wire frayed at the plug (it is still intact but I only get audio when I twist the cord just right). I expected better quality given the price point, this is more consistent with low-end / disposable headphones.

I honestly have not been a fan of in ear headphones till now. I have preferred either speaker or good quality over the ear headphones but looking for something easy to walk with or use in quick sessions at work I decided to try an in the ear product from Bose. I have a set of QuietComfort15's that are excellent but more than I want for this use, so I decided to try these. Within the first minute of successfully getting these in my ear (a bit of a trick but they have a video and once learned it is easy) the sound, for the size, is amazing. Totally satisfied and have never heard my mobile devices sound better!

These headphones were very dissapointing because of the sound. Bose has done everything right with this such as the packaging, the build quality was better than most headphones, the carying case was useful and unlike others i found myself using it, the ear pieces were easy to put in yet hard to take out on accident, but the main purpose of the headphone which is sound was disappointing. The ear pieces didn't completely seal which made for an awkward feeling but sound was not as effected because the piece shoots music straight into your ear canal. The bass was not clear as it should be and the highs were almost not there. I was not able to pick up individual sounds like i was with my AKG's. I would not reccomend these to you if you care about the sound but if you want a good pair of Workout headphones with nice accessories but not great sound quality than you should consider these.
