It fits perfectly my old Canon AF35M. It locks in with the two side springs. The front of the cap has a rough finish. I would prefer a simple matte finish. Other than that, I am very happy with the cap.

This fit perfectly on my MD 50mm 2.0 Solid feeling, I mean it's not like oem but it feels good and clicks in nicely.

I buy bigger filters so that I can use them on smaller filter sized lenses. It was exactly what I needed, it's definitely a weird cap compared to a normal sony cap, but it feels secure and performs well.
