I use several B+W filers. Very good quality filters. So, I decided to ordered the B+W Stepping Adapter Ring. I use it to attach my Canon 77mm 500d Close Up Lens to my Nikon lenses that have 67mm threads. Good clean threads. Easy to attach. Certainly would recommend it to others considering purchasing this adapter ring.

Have used B+W and Nikon filters for years. For stepping rings, B+W are top notch.

As with other brands, the B+W adapter rings are made of anodized aluminum. Some even claim premium grade aluminum. If aluminum is aluminum, then what's left is the brand. Since I have several B+W filters I am totally familiar with the brand's quality products. The step up rings are of equal quality. When shopping for step-up/step-down adapter rings, be sure what ever brand you choose to purchase (regardless of price) that they have knurled sides like the B+W rings. Should one cantankerous ring be difficult to release from a filter, you'll be happy the sides of the ring are knurled for a firmer grip of the filter wrench to make the separation so much easier.

Practice using this & don't tighten too tightly, as w/any filter or lens. Works well w/my 77mm filters on my 67mm lens.

My largest filter size is 77mm and this adapter allows purchasing only 1 size filter. Qaulity is superb as are all B+W products.

Best machined fit both on lens and to filter. Does exactly what it was designed to do. Would buy B&W adapters again along with purchasing from Adorama. Product arrived when expected, constant communication of shipment. Excellent customer service support that can answer any of your questions.

It is well made, but I found that a wider than standard grip is both good and bad. It seems easier to handle without accidentally touching the filter. But if you leave the protecting filter on and screw on the adapter a little tight, it would be hard to use your fingers to keep the protector in place when unscrewing. You may have to remove both filters or use a plastic wrench as an aid. I have also tried a much cheaper adapter, and it worked as good.

I can use it on my 70-200 L (77mm) lens, as well as my 18-135 (67mm) lens, no problem.

This adapter is extremely handy to avoid having to buy filters in different sizes. You can step up all your lenses to 77mm. Good build quality.

This step up ring enabled me to use my 77mm filters on my 67mm 70-200mm lens.

I was too cheap to buy another high-dollar polarizer, so I decided to buy this step ring to use on my new lens. I tried it at home but not yet in the field. It fits fine. But ring is brass (good and solid) and so is my polarizer, but it was hard to unscrew. Just be sure NOT to overtighten!

Great threads for lens and filter . Used it to put 77mm filter on 67 mm lens and was just the ticket

I use this to expand use of 77mm filters purchased for larger (e.g.Zeiss) lenses on my Nikon lenses. Using larger size filters reduces chance of vignetting.

And it works! Good quality. Is it really worth the money? Sure. Long term, I think it will last. I can't tell if it's made form aluminum or brass. Regardless, the threads are smooth.

I bought this so I could put an existing 77mm polarizing filter on my new Nikon D90 lens. The ring is beautifully made and threads easily. I'm glad I spent the extra few dollars for a high quality product.

Does good job for stepping down 77mm filter for use on 67mm lens so don't have to buy two filters for same purpose. This brand is well made but a bit pricey.

I have several expensive filters (circular polorizer, graduated greys, UV, etc.) that I use with my Canon 70-200/2.8L IS lens that I would like to do double duty on my Mamiya 43mm medium-format lens. The 67mm to 77mm step-up ring will allow me to do so with no image loss, vignetting or flare.

I use these rings so that I don't spend a lot of money on polarizers and ND filters for all of my lens sizes. The investment in a solidly constructed ring like this one is well worth it when you count the cost of the buying those filters for every lens size.

I bought this step ring specifically to use my 77mm Circular Polarizer on my Nikon 18-70. This filter comes on and off with some regularity. The step ring threads on easily and filters go on and off with no effort. Tiny serrations make it easy to grip the step ring for removal if required. No vignetting but I expected none with a 67mm to 77mm. I’ve had no problems at all. The interior surfaces are a matte black finish that eliminates reflection. There are less expensive step rings available and if I was planning to mount a filter permanently I would have considered them, however I need to be able to mount and dismount filters quickly without the fear that they will be stuck to the ring and/or that the ring will be stuck to the lens. I got what I paid for and I’m happy with the product. Your mileage may vary depending on your driving habits and road conditions.

Very good quality 67-77mm step-up ring at a good price. The ring is thin and does not vignette.
