I needed a 2nd camera for our Live Stream and upgraded to this camera from the XA30. I love it. Quality, High Definition recording with great sound quality! I love the option of using HDMI or SDI. The HDMI in my XA30 is waring and not consistent. SDI is more secure.

I am a little Bias with the Canon XA Line, I LOVE THEM! I already have a XA30, it is a work-horse. I have used the XA45 for about a month now and the picture quality is better then my XA30 and is easier to use. My volunteers love the XA45 better as well because it is very user friendly. I am happy it comes with the HDMI AND SDI outputs because my HDMI on the XA30 is shorting out and will have to get it fixed or get another camera. With the 2 outputs, I don't have to worry about a black screen in mid-production. I use these for our church live stream and we have gotten a lot of compliments on the quality of our stream. I highly recommend!

This is a great little camera with 4K capabilities and great inputs and outputs. Easy to use.
