Stunning. You'd have a hard time convincing me there's a better value in binoculars out there. For something 1/10th the price of top-end glass, these deliver on every front. Focus is quick and buttery. Image is crisp, bright, and colorful. Field of view feels like it's a mile wide. 8x isn't huge magnification, but that's not what I'm wanting. These are about taking in a scene, and they do a great job at that. 8x is as much magnification as you want for that. These glasses are my go-to. If I want to zoom in tighter on something, I have a pair of 12x50 for that (Nikon Action). But when you go up to 12x, you lose the scene. And the image gets very jumpy. One thing most reviewers don't mention: these are very good for smaller faces. I have narrow-set eyes (56mm) and these close in just tight enough. I tried the Nikon Monarch M7, which also claims to go down to 56mm, but the eyepieces were so big they wouldn't clear my nose bridge. The Celestrons don't have that problem.

They arrived on time (and on a tight schedule), worked beautifully to sight wonderful wildflife in Alaska... and were light and portable. I chose them because they were mid-priced...I love to be out in nature, spotting wildlife and birds... but I am not a fanatic such that binoculars of $1,000+ are required. So at about $350, a perfect choice for me. I have used less expensive models--- and all have been heavy, unwieldy and in my opinion, hard to use.

These binoculars have a bright crisp view! They feel good in the hands, and seem well built. The only draw back is a bit of blurriness around the outer ring, but it has a big field of view so maybe that’s worth it. The blurry edge is evidently addressed in their royal series, but they only make those in their larger heavier objectives. I’d like to see them add an even more compact model, maybe an 8x25 in the royal series??

We purchased this item as a gift for a relative. She just started bird watching and loves these binoculars. They certainly fill the bill for her needs. Thanks to the reviews and recommendations of this product we selected the right item for the job.

These binoculars are a good value. I bought them because they were recommended by Wirecutter, and also after a lot of online research. They are bright and have a very large field of view. They’re also solidly constructed. Their smaller size feels comfortable to grip for long periods of time. The magnification wheel was a little stiff right out of the box, but it has already loosened up.

I am very happy with my new binoculars. The clarity and focus are excellent for my purposes. I use them primarily for viewing bird but I have also used them for viewing stars and planets. I LOVE them!

5 stars for the binoculars, 3 stars for the harness, 2 stars for the item being back-ordered and taking forever to arrive, and 0 stars for the strapping system not being quick-release!

Discover the unparalleled viewing experience offered by the 8x32 TrailSeeker ED Roof Prism Binoculars, a top-tier choice for passionate birdwatchers, dedicated hunters, and outdoor enthusiasts. The TrailSeeker ED is brimming with superior optical, mechanical, and ergonomic features, rivaling binoculars that cost significantly more.
Experience the exceptional clarity provided by the ED Objective Lenses. The Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass virtually eradicates chromatic aberration or color fringing, a common visual defect in binoculars. The TrailSeeker ED promises edge-to-edge sharpness, outstanding color correction, and razor-sharp images. Celestron's high-quality ED glass outperforms standard ED glass, delivering visibly brighter, sharper images, particularly noticeable in low light conditions such as dawn or dusk.
The TrailSeeker ED is equipped with fully multi-coated optics and phase- and dielectric-coated BaK-4 prisms. A binocular earns the "fully multi-coated" title when all air-to-glass surfaces are layered with multiple anti-reflectivity coatings, ensuring maximum light transmission. The high-quality BaK-4 glass prism inside the TrailSeeker ED, coated with both phase and dielectric coatings, reflects more light and diverts it through the eye, resulting in the brightest, most detailed images possible.
Constructed from lightweight yet durable magnesium alloy, the TrailSeeker ED is designed to withstand rigorous outdoor use. Its robust, rubber-coated frame is fully waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent internal lens fogging, ensuring the binocular can endure even the harshest weather conditions.
Viewing through the TrailSeeker ED is a comfortable experience for both eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers, thanks to the durable twist-up eyecups. With multiple click stops, you can easily find the position that suits you best.
The TrailSeeker ED boasts a close focus of just 6.5 feet, making it ideal for observing birds, butterflies, plants, or other nearby subjects. However, it also offers the magnification needed for distant viewing, coupled with a wide field of view for easy tracking of moving subjects. This versatile binocular is a stellar all-around performer, regardless of your viewing preferences.
The TrailSeeker ED comes with both a neck strap and a carrying harness, allowing you to choose the most comfortable option. It's also tripod adaptable for extended viewing or digiscoping sessions (tripod adapter sold separately). The binocular includes a protective soft case for convenient storage or transport. Experience the world in remarkable detail with the 8x32 TrailSeeker ED Roof Prism Binoculars.
