I was so pleased with my first HEOS purchase that I now have 2 HEOS 3's, a HEOS 7, a HEOS amp, and 3 HEOS 1's. If you are looking to fill your home with sound and not with wires, give HEOS a listen.

It is not possible to interface with Podcast Addict, a very popular smartphone app. I contacted the developer and he said that Heos has a proprietary interface and it will be difficult to have the app communicate with the speaker. Second, the 3.5 mm plug cannot be used to play directly from a smart phone.

We purchased a Denon Heos AVR and bought 2 HEOS 3 HS1's for the surround speakers as running wires was not an option. The pairing was easy, and they sound great. My wife un-pairs them them when we're not watching movies and takes them around the house to listen to her music while doing her thing.

I have a Heos 5 and a Heos 3 in my great room (medium size room). The 5 is in the front and 3 in the back. Nice combo. Good mid range and highs. I listen to mainly instrumental. The sound is good and pleasant. Now, I can get better sound with a wired system. But, Heos shines in this area. Plug it in and control from the I-Phone. Select the music and it's just that simple. No amplifier and mountains of connections and wires. Very convient. Besides, my spouse does like the volume high. It fits our lifestyle!

Very good sound but the interface is clumsy and it doesn't work with Apple Music. Almost a deal breaker but at least I can use it in my office with a cable.

happy with purchase but a bit disappointed by the connectivity...we have the unit outside in good weather but in high winds or other cases it drops the WiFi connection which can be very annoying. I've only had for a few weeks so hopefully I can fine tune my system

I live in a 2 story house, have this little but powerful sounding speaker set in my bedroom, turned up not even to the max & yet can enjoy my music clearly around the house. Easy to install, connect, & operate.

Had a couple of these speakers. Speakers are great but the app don't work anymore. The speakers will not play without it. Very disappointed!

I purchased my Heos 3 speaker several years ago, and was never able to successfully make it work. I gave up on trying, and gave it to my nephew to try, but he couldn't either, leaving it to gather dust in a closet at my sister's house. Poor product, with no customer service contact information provided. I would not recommend, or purchase another Heos product in the future.

I have 3 of the Heos 3 speakers in my home, in the living room, family room and kitchen. I often take one onto the patio too. I love the sound quality and that my music is in every room. I have other speakers around my home connected to my zone 2 of my stereo, they do not even compare in sound, ease of use or connectivity.

Fantastic sound and speaker, the only thing that held me back from giving it the full 5 Stars is I wish it had that type of sound and it was Bluetooth not just WiFi, it would extend its use for me, but that being said top notch

The HEOS 3 delivers crisp, clean sound! And excellent base, the type of quality I would expect from a speaker 3 times its size! My only issue with it is the lack of power button (it's always on) . Besides that, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

You have to turn on wifi on your phone, then click like 8 unintuititive buttons to do anything. For example, if you want to play sound through the AUX input, it should automatically detect it and play. Nope. To adjust the treble and bass, I can't even remember how many buttons you have to press, but it's a nuisance.

Overall the heos speakers sound great, I have 9 heos 3's and the heos cinema. I'm anxiously awaiting for the ability to pair it with Alexa but it's not available yet. First time users may have a hard Time but once you get accustomed to the speakers you'll love it. I do wish you could shut them off.

I was offered this Bluetooth speaker for 1/3 of the pricing from Spotify and I decided to try it. Might be the best speaker I know of on the market for the market pricing. I have a few friends that have HK & Bose Bluetooth spejets and we agree this one is the best value. The only complaint I have is that the bass can be heavy sometimes, a mix amp would be great in the app. I am hoping to get the Hometheater Sound Bar soon... just waiting for the right deal from HEOS because I won't buy another brand.

this is one of the best speakers I have ever owned. great sound and deep bass. it is an essential home workout companion. the only request I have is for more baked-in integrated functionality of the Heos app with third party music providers (ie amazon music, google play, etc)
