a little slow

Works fine for production - did 100 headshots for a school production and had probably 5 images when the strobes didn't fire. It's true you can control the power from the remote, but you have to be patient, increasing it slowly. If you hit the button too quickly, it doesn't work. Aside from nominally being able to adjust the power - I default to my pocket wizards with a connector.

The BRT-616C transmitter for use on the Dynalite Baja B4 and B6 operates on the 2.4GHz band has 16 frequency channels with 6 groups per channel and a range of up to 590'. The intuitive design of the unit allows power control over 6 stops in 1/10 stop increments as well as on/off. The transmitter is compatible with all Baja modes including Stroboscopic mode that allows you to shoot 5, 10 or 15 frames per second wirelessly
