From a Long Time Passport Photo Business
So I love the old Sony/DNP System. I have had 3. I have two left one is on its last leg. Reading some of the other reviews I was skeptical. I have had some minor disconnecting issues, but nothing crazy like another reviewer. Biggest complaint is the quality is not as good. Good points: 1. film is cheaper and 2. doing multiple photos are much faster (ie 10 or more photos needed for one individual).

DNP Passport System
Very easy set-up with color coded detailed instructions. Photos are clear and concise and easily edited. First day of use, printer jammed several times, have only had the problem once or twice since. Would recommend for any Passport Office!

Issues with connectivity from camera to system.
Wanted this system to work to replace an older Sony Passport Camera System. The camera and system kept on loosing connections and had to reboot the system and camera numerous times to get print. Also when it worked it took a long time to transfer the image to the system (1-2 minutes) even though the camera was two feet from the system. Printing is fast when the image transfers to the system. I still think there is still a lot glitches to fix before it can be used in a professional passport setting.
