Great, Simple, Fully Manual Adapter for Nikon F to Sony A7 IV Body

Nice, solid, simple mount for Nikon F manual lenses to Sony. I needed this adapter for a slide copy project I was doing using a Sony A7 IV body. It?s nicely made, inexpensive, fits securely on the camera and the lens. NOTE: Figuring out how to get the body to work with the adapter took me a bit of time. The trick was going into the simple menu (I?m being seriously sarcastic) options, and find the option for "Allow Shutter to Fire Without a Lens? or close to that. The camera won?t shoot unless a lens is detected, and this counts as having no lens mounted. Once you find that option, it works fine. My need was specific. I was archiving 60 year old slides for a publishing project. So, using the camera at 100 ISO, full manual control, I mounted a Nikon M2 Extension Tube to a Micro-Nikkor 55mm lens, with a Nikon Slide Copying Adapter ES-1. The quality of the system is quite high, you can resolve film grain and dye clouds. Key to using it was Sony ?Image Edge Desktop? software.
