These are the first of Fender's noiseless pickups that I think are true to the original sound. Love the skyburst metallic finish too!

It would have been worth every penny even if I had paid full price. Thanks for the Labor Day dale adorama. The elite series necks are just so easy to play on and comfortable. Don’t downplay the new noiseless pick ups until you’ve tried them. It really is fenders most...elite.

This is a nice Strat with higher than normal quality pickups. Mine has perfect action and is a joy to play. Love the S switch.

I played the American Deluxe Start before and really like it. I was going to buy it until I saw this awesome offer during Black Friday on the Elite. I made the purchase and I'm glad I did it. The guitar came in a beautiful case. The sunburst color was better than I expected with a little darker color. It actually looked better than in the picture. The sound is awesome and I observed very minimal noise (if at all) from the pickup. Note the Strat has in general a higher tone (compared to the Gibson). I used this with an Acoustic Amp and I think I got the best of both world for the type of music I played. I have not experiment too much on the switch settings for the pickup but there definite are many settings to choose from depending on the type of tone emphasis you want. Playing is very smooth. Fingering is easy. I'm looking forward to many years of playing with this guitar. I'll probably do a more complete review of this guitar perhaps after a year from now but it's been an awesome experience. I think it's worth the money to buy a nice one rather a few of the lower quality Strat. Excellent workmanship and sound quality.

The tremelo arm is pretty bad. It comes off the guitar so easily when I try to pull. The guitar also came with a weird resonance on the g string. I honestly am not sure if it's the guitar or the amp so I won't hold it against fender.
