People are complaining about the personality cards. To be honest, I haven't tried the other ones besides the standard one that's in there. Just has that classic strat sound. I was able to find this on Slickdeals.com for ($). So yea. I'm pretty stoked with my purchase

This guitar plays amazingly well. I love the versatility it offers with the different style chips you can plug into the back. Adorama had an amazing price that I couldn't pass up. Shipping was fast. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Awesome guitar. Action came a little high so I'm still tweaking on that. Haven't bothered with the personality cards cuz it sounds and plays fantastic. I've never played a high quality instrument for long periods of time before, so I'm really appreciating this after +10 years of crooked necks and muddy pups. Two things I didn't know about the strategy style... you will hit your pic on the middle pup and your hand on the volume knob. I've gotten used to it after just a week... stupid complaint but it might bother some more than me. The 3 pups give a very wide array of different sounds, and I'd I chose to mess with the cards, there'd be more. Kinda looks gimmicky... and it is. And the plastic cover will break long before anything else does. The paint color is why this is such a low price... it's a boring color but is color worth 500 bucks to you?

If you want a basic strat just leave the card in the guitar. Comes with a nice guitar case For $799 its a no brainer babyyyyy it it before they are gone

What is not to love? A great Fender Strat at a great price. Quality all around, beautiful guitar, great case. Paired it with the Fender Mustang III v2 amp. Very happy with both.
