I love having this light for run and gun shoots. Keep your subjects lit well no matter where you are. Batteries last really long but make sure to have spares because you'll hate to have it die in the middle of no where. I love all of the different snap on covers for different light filters. Helps grab the mood in camera.

Extremely bright, very portable, wide throw, but the rubber grip on the l bracket comes unglued easily and the plastic construction leaves a little to be desired. Also, be careful the batter placement doesn't interfere with the grip of your camera. This makes is significantly more difficult to use the L-bracket as advertised.

Pretty good but batteries die without warning. Good for videos. Not bright enough to over power the sun, in case you were wondering. I'd still recommend it though.

I use this light mainly for a fill in cross lighting, with natural light coming through a window. Wraps well around faces and gets me the look I need with very few adjustments. Last used on 10/30/2016 for dialogue on a film set.

This is the best thing for on the go shooting when you need a great subject light. Only downside is their is no on/off switch outside of the brightness knob. So if you turn off the light in between takes - it can be hard to remember the exact brightness you were using before.

This puppy puts out some great light. I really dig the milk filter to soften shadows. The one think I am bummed about was that they do not include an AC adapter so you can use it out of the box. I know that's not Adorama's fault, but maybe thy could pass that info to the manufacturer, and/or make a bundle.

I may have reviewed the R300 when I first bought it. After a lot of research, I find this iight is the perfect blend of flexibility, portability and affordability. As others have pointed out, the bracket that comes with it is a strange design and I hardly ever use it. I use it on light stands for general lighting and on the hot shoe with simple adaptors. Upon receiving this one, I did find that one of the battery terminals was loose and pushed in when I inserted a battery. It did require a dab of superglue to secure. I'm a little disappointed with that right out of the box, but it doesn't keep me from recommending this light highly. It is bright and doesn't have the LED green hue common with cheap LED lights.

Small a light weight good amount of power for a led. I baught this with the AC power the light was pluged in and powered on for a two week job worked great

Good band for the buck. The 0-100 dimmer gives you all options. Plus very simple snap on filters is a plus. The battery lasts pretty good. But should get a couple to be safe.

This light is so great. works great for my nightclub type event shooting. Love the build and gel panels. works great with my canon 5d and 6d. does not work well with my canon xa10 as I have the output handle attached but if I were to remove the handle it would work great. price is great for the product. works with my batteries that I use in my other video lights so I can swap out the lights without worrying about additional batteries. We custom white balance easily for the two panels.

For the price I am very pleased. I've been wanting a ringlight for some time. I shoot a lot of video and not only does it act as affordable studio lighting but gives me that stunning catch light that used to be reserved for high-end fashion media.
