I?ve owned a few Gretsch guitars, including the Brian Setzer Nashville, and this is still my favorite. Lean and mean, as it should be. I added a Duane Eddy Bigsby arm, as well as a Callaham ?String Thru? bar. Combined with a chambered titanium Compton bridge, and it?s ?Rockabilly? till dawn! I also love this color! It?s very unique, unlike the other colors completely. It?s also becoming pretty hard to find on the used market.

Overall I am happy with this guitar. This is the first Gretsch I've owned. It doesn't match the picture very well - the colors seem more green on my computer screen but grayer in real life which is fine. The sound is nice, the guitar plays faster than I expected, but overall aesthetics keep it on the simplistic side which I find a little disappointing regarding the price paid and think some of their lower end models look nicer. The guitar still needs to be set up, there's a little buzz to it, but that doesn't come through with the speaker and overall it's growing on me. Don't get me wrong, I like it and don't regret the purchase, but I don't think it's for everyone and Gretsch's other models may be better suited for others.
