Gretsch holiday for me

This guitar arrived safe and ready to tune up and play. Couldnt ask for better service. My only complaint is directed at Gretsch ..because w all the incredible improvements made to these guitars over the last 13yrs since FMIC took over production, the same ABR-1 budget bridge is still on these guitars. The Low E keeps poppin off w travis picking and the unwound strings rattle. So.. you are forced to have a luthier redress the saddles slots and also get the radius to match the 9.5" fretboard radius.. No worries, I installed a Tru-Arc serpentune SS bridge and 11 gauge strings. The guitar performed perfectly last weekend w a one hr gig and never went out of tune even in a room that was 67 degrees :) Cheers Guys, you are getting more of my business. Merry Xmas. Tv
