AWESOME Tripod

OK, I will admit I like Gitzo, have 3 of their CF tripods. But this one really rocks! Got a Markin Q-Ball M10 to go with it (the one made especially for this tripod) and the two are rock solid. Easily supports my 300 AFS f/4 or 70-210 VR f/2.8 with TC's attached. Yet you can still move the lens to any angle without it slipping, due to the friction adjustment. The Markins BH is 5 star too. I carried this setup in my LowePro MiniTrekkar during a recent 3 week trip to Thailand and found the combination unbeatable. This unit folds up with ballhead to 17" long and will fit in any carry on wheeled luggage. Total weight with ballhead is just over 3 pounds. Highly recommended for travel.
