A very nice addition to my Tilta BMCC4k cage
This handle was perfect for me and wish it would have been an option when I originally bought my cage. As it is I have the original cage handle that is now basically surplus. This handle fits onto the cage in the same identical way. It also gives you another option on mounting your Samsung T-5 SSD that I think makes more sense than the original mount over the display sun shield.
I really like the Sony F970 format battery. I personally use the PowerExtra battery which includes indicators for checking the charge and additional outputs for DC and USB. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M189SS0/).
My only complaint is that the cables to connect this to the BMPCC4k should just be included with handle. They are somewhat unique and hard to find. For example the power cable is a 20cm DC 2.1×0.5 to SF610/S2. Try finding that. I am using the micro usb output to power my Tilta Nano Nucleus and that works great. It's much easier to find a micro usb to micro usb cable.
For $ on Adorama this handle is a value and a much better alternative to the canon battery that ships with the camera. It took forever to get it however as it was on constant backorder (typical for Tilta). I did order the power cable thru Tilta but am still waiting for delivery on that.
If you are using the Tilta cage for your BMPCC4k you can't go wrong with this handle.
