Beautiful design and function except...

Well engineered with a solution to the limited battery life on the internal battery on the BMP4K. Except there is a big problem: it does not come with a proprietary cable to actually power the camera. So it’s useless except as a handle (and to power / control the Nano follow focus). You have to order the cable from Tilta for $ and an additional shipping charge. Also run/stop button doesn’t control the camera but that was understood when I bought it.

This side handle slides onto the base of the half and full Tiltaing camera cages. A battery port on the bottom of the handle allows you to use a Sony F970 battery to power the Nucleus Nano motor via the 8V Micro-USB power output. A 12V DC output is also integrated into the handle. A built-in finger wheel allows you to control the Nucleus Nano motor and a run/stop button allows you to control the record start/stop function of your camera through an optional Nucleus-Nano R/S cable (for cameras that support this function). The handle also has an integrated Samsung T5 SSD card holder.
