To be honest, I haven't even charged them yet, but at the price, I couldn't pass it up. I expect them to be up to Adorama's usual quality...great value for the price. However, they lack the plastic cover that the OEM Nikon batteries have, so the Li-ion issue of shorting across contacts might be an issue. I'll be sticking each batttery in its own ziploc bag.

I use this battery in my D90 every day. It charges fast and last just as long as the Nikon battery.

I bought this as a backup battery for the Nikon version that came with my camera. It only held a full charge for 6 months and then the capacity started decreasing. By 11 months it was barely functional. I recycled it and bought a Nikon one instead, which has been going strong and still holds 95% capacity after 2.5 years. Buy the name brand when it comes to batteries.

So, what do you expect for [$] bucks. I have had 2 of these for about 2 years and they work fine. I have used them for the past 2 years taking photos of nighttime lacrosse games; with and without flash. Previously, I could use either for about 800 RAW images on a single charge. About the same as my OEM EN-EL3e. I take about 10K shutter actuations a year and, until now, they have both held up. One of them is now failing to hold a charge longer than ~50 frames. I think I got my money's worth. At [$] I can afford to replace them. Just keep more than one. Or, maybe more than 2 or 3. They are great as a backup or in sets.

This battery will be used in conjuction with my other Nikon batteries, and so far it is performing just fine.

Got these batteries with a package deal from Adorama. I have not had any problems. They seem to hold a charge as good as my OEM Nikon battery. There are however horror stories out there about 3rd party import batteries that short out and burn etc. I would trust that Adorama sources products from reliable vendors. I use these with complete confidence in my grip with no issues.

Two of these things go with me on every trip I take. My little Nikon D70s is blazing away the whole time! Most trips I take close to a thousand shots! I've never had a problem with these batteries. I do keep them topped up on the charger but for the most part I take them for granted! I could not be happier. Good product made better when I got them on sale!

I keep charging this battery and hoping it will work, but it holds a charge for maybe a day, or 30 shots, whichever comes first. I bought two of them as backups and they have been completely worthless. Save your money and buy the name brand.

Got this EN-EL3e battery with a Nikon D90 kit. Uesd it three times. Use time was not long and now it will not hold a charge. Charger gives a error flash when trying to charge. I bought one like this for a Cannon and I worked good. This one for a Nikon did not.

This battery is ok for awhile but it does'nt hold a charge very long and it is nothing like the real Nikon batteries. It is very light but I guess you cannot expect much for the price these batteries cost.

Nikon factory batteries last a good amount of time. This batter lasts about 60% of what Nikon batteries last. I don't get the same amount of pictures, etc. I would not buy this battery again.

I have a bunch of these batteries. The cost is inexpensive, but they work every bit as well as "the more expensive brand." The only thing that I noted is that they feel a little bit lighter than the brand name, but I have not seen any difference in performance. I have shot all day with these batteries, and the lifespan is excellent. At the price of these, it is easy to have several sets of backups on hand so you don't have to worry about running out of juice.

For less than half the price of the Nikon battery you can't beat this. Works in my Nikon charger and D200 flawlessly. Even if it only has half the life of an EN-EL3, and I have no reason to believe that is the case, two of them still cost less than one En-EL3. You can't go wrong with this battery.

I have both Nikon & Adorama battery. I can't tell difference. So I think it's great value. I do use both nikons at same time in my battery grip and both Adorama batteries at same time. good value. Great way to save money w this product.

Just a solid replacement/spare to have on hand. No complaints about this one and the price is quite a bit better than the Nikon model. Came with a 3/4 charge and was ready to go.

Always charges. I can blast away all day and not worry about batteries. I've never had it fail me! Cheap enough that I can carry a spare though I've never had to use the spare! Can't get better than this. Good batteries.

After reading many negative reviews, I decided to give it a try. After all, they did work for some people. The two that I ordered took a charge according to my charger. When inserted into my Nikon D80 they would not register as being in place. Two batteries, two D80's, two Battery holders. All combinations, the same results. Also, the grooves on the side of the battery got caught when trying to remove from the battery holder and were a general pain to remove. Don't waste your money, or at least pay with credit card or Paypal so they can be returned even if the company gives you a hard time.

The labeling int he picture indicates this is a Japanese battery. Japanese cells are usually much better than [*] Well, the picture is incorrect. This is [*] It was also manufactured sometime in 2009. That means it is over a year old and I just got it. It isn't good on batteries to sit around a while. I'll try this as the primary for a little while and make sure it will hold up.

I haven't been able to find a cheaper substitute for the o.e.m. battery until now. Not only does this look like the original battery (don't they all!), it's working like one, as well. Excellent product.
Great Price and product.
