MIKE S : Is this ink the newly formulated, revised ink by Canon for the ipf 6300?KATHLEEN B : Although I am not absolutely certain that you can't use this in the 6300, I can tell you that the package I have clearly states that it is for the 6400 and the 6450. It does NOT list the 6300. Also, since the expiration listed on it is for the end of 2014, I suspect it is not a newly formulated, revised ink. Hope this helps.RON W : Without guarantee: It is my understanding that this is a newly formulaed ink for the ipf 6300 and certain other printers. I have no way of knowing whether it is any different of whether it is new packaging to sell more ink. I am happy with the results from the printer.GERALD B : Yes, as far as I know.
Shopper : What is the shelf life of Canon PFI-106 ink cartridges?JEAN-BAPTISTE Q : I the set I ordered, the cartridges had between 14 and 21 months of shelf life left when they were delivered, so it's at least 21 months (and it might be 24 months from the date of manufacture, though I'm not sure).RICKY C : I am unsure as to the shelf life as I have only recently ordered another set. I only ordered this latest set not because I have used the previous one in August of 2013, but simply because I like to at least have one on hand in the event a critical situation arrives. The nearest location for purchase is over 200 mi. so I order online. Reading the back of the cartridge package it states "Use all ink within 6 months after opening to ensure optimum print quality". After that it goes on to say "Do not open the ink tank package until you are ready to use it". Also below the bar code and Lot No. an expiration date is provided such as i.e. Install before / 2015.03. I could not find a manufacturing date however. In order to obtain that date. You might be able to contact the manufacturer and provide him the Lot No. which they should be able to trace for that date. Hope this helps.DOUGLAS S : All of the ones I bought from Adorama in Feb 2014 have expiration dates ranging from 2/15 to 9/15 with exception of one which is dated 9/14.
