I would very much recommend this product. For the price and what you are paying for it works very well. The ergonomics flow very well with the camera itself and the design is just immaculate. Adorama is also a great place to make purchases through as you will get the product quickly and in a professional matter.

I loved this! It works very well, and it fulfilled my needs. Although I forgot to buy extra batteries this product still worked great! Well worth the money.

fits my T2i bodies; seems to function as advertised, so far ... appears well constructed for fit/finish; we'll see ...

As soon as I received the battery grip I test fit it on my 600D. It fits perfectly and securely on the camera and the buttons are right where they can be reached. I have to say that the only thing kinda bad about the grip is that the rubberized grip is a little slippery, but it's really not that big of a deal in my eyes. I would recommend this as a great alternative to purchasing the Canon grip that's more expensive.

This battery grip seemed to function fine, except that with my small hands it was a very uncomfortable grip, especially if it had the tripod mount still on it while using it hand held.

I originally bought it for my T2i for extended battery life with still photography. It works great! I have had no problems using all the controls for vertical as well. It comes with an additional AA pack also. I have not needed yet. I fill an SD card long before changing battery packs. Recharging is fast. I have been using it for video and again the card fills before the battery levels drop. I bought a second on for my T4i. I'm very happy with this product.

There was nothing that I expected this product to do that it didn't to my full expectations, and it had some great extra features as well. For portrait shooting, this grip is great. All buttons work as well as the ones on the camera body. I have never missed a shutter because I was using the grip. It is securely mounted, and I love holding the camera by the grip, it really is comfortable for my hand size. The grip also looks very consistent (color-wise) with a T2i body. It does add a fair amount of weight, but I really don't mind. If anything I think a slightly heavier camera is a little stabler in some cases. The grip is very versatile. It can use one lp-e8 battery, two lp-e8 batteries, or six AA batteries to power the camera. I haven't tried the six battery setup yet, but it works perfectly with canon brand lp-e8 batteries. It gives a significantly more proffessional look to my camera, it adds a little weight and a lot of maneuverability for vertical shooting, and it allows me to use AA batteriesfor power in a bad situation. All in all, a fantastic product at less than half the price of the canon alternative.

Amazing, it's like an exact replica of the ones that I have on the cameras I just sold. They cost $130+. If it wasn't for the great reviews I never would have purchased, I have always purchased name brand. Saved so much that I ended up buying more of the nice to have stuff!

Works as expected, so no need to buy the 5x more expensive Canon original. I have used a Canon battery grip on my former camera and the only difference is the feel of the lock: The Flashpoint doesn't open or close as smoothly as the Canon, but nothing problematic.

I love the added stability & battery life of a grip, so when I got a new camera I knew I wanted to add a grip. This one is great. Reasonable cost & works well. My only issue, and the reason for the 4 stars, is the tab on the side to lock/unlock the battery holder. It feels cheap/flimsy and I'm afraid it will break off if I am too rough with it. So, I'll use it gently and hope it doesn't. Otherwise, this a great buy for a new user/hobbyist not looking to spend a fortune on a brand name.

This product really extends the longevity of the shooting time since it takes 2 batteries or AA batteries.

This product fit my T3I without issue. Only drawback is the battery door lock. It's the weakest part of the unit and I could see this easilt snapping off if you are not careful. One thing not explained in the weak instruction manual was that the portrait trigger button will not fire unless you move the switch to the on position. I like how the unit will store the camera battery door for you so it wont get lost.

I love the double shutter button, one on top and one on the battery grip, no more crossing over the camera and the fact that i can put two batteries at one time means I'll have juice to spare and if you do run out of juice they added another battery loader for AA batteries for a backup. I love it.

Looks like its almost built into the camera when its put on, very clean and easy to use. Have a feeling it will last awhile.

For the cost, i have enjoyed it. It functions well and matches the camera. I have not had any problems with it. It feels lightweight in nature, but it doesnt flex an I am not aggressive with my gear so it shouldnt be a problem. It instantly gives the camera a more professional look. One major part i did not know before, You do not have to use two batteries in the grip. The grip functions correctly with one or both batteries installed. So you can purchase the grip now and the battery later!

This was a recommendation over the Canon brand battery grip and it is identical providing the same great function. I used this battery grip with my Canon T2i. The salesman told me it is identical to Canon's which retails for twice the price. It was great for long shoots. The AA backup was also great piece of mind. There is a nice little hold for the battery compartment door of your camera so you don't misplace the piece.

I wanted a battery grip for my T3I. My hands are just to big to hold the camera firmly. This grip fits and works great. Excellent quality. The OEM Canon grip was more than twice the cost. You will never know its not from Canon. The only problem is that the cameras battery level always reads full. It does not detect the battery drain. In reality, who cares, just buy aftermarket batteries and keep as spares with you in your bag. Minor problem and it is worth saving all the extra money over the OEM.

Nicely made grip and at a far more reasonable price. Very handy for vertical pics. Unfortunately, it doesn't completely fix the right hand grip issue with Rebel series. To do that, it would need an extension to cover and enlarge the small and short grip that puts too much tension on the finger tips rather than the curve of the fingers. Never did understand this design, and my hands are not large.

I love this grip! It's built very well and it cost half the price of the name brand product. My main reason for buying it, was i have easier access to my shutter button while taking vertical full body shots! It's also gives you a better grip on handling the camera, it feels great. I also like that i can have backup if my battery dies out! priceless! Highly recommend it :)

I do mainly Wildlife/Bird photography but the extra controls for vertical hold come in very handy. The extra battery give me extended time for waiting for subjects to arrive when using remote triggers. This grip works every bit as good as the Canon grip and allowed me to buy extra items.

I like it because it gives me a lot of shooting time and the ability to use AA batteries, in a pinch, is a real plus.

My beautiful wife go me a T2i for christmas. I love it but I have huge hands! It felt a bit cramped, so I went online to see what accesories were available. Canon makes grips but the cost would hurt(especially after christmas)! I checked for alternative brands and came across this one, Wow half the price! I read a few reviews and took a chance. If anything I figured it would improve the comfort of using the camera. I purchased it, put it on my camera and it felt great! It also gives it that pro look. I havent had it for too long but a few trips with the kids allday and no complaints. One draw back is you loose the iso button when you hold it verticle.

This battery grip is very well designed and fits the Ti2 perfectly. The quality is amazingly good at the price and is very comparable to the Canon. The added weight is great with larger lenses as a counter balance and adds some stability while shooting. The battery grip can be attached or taken off the camera very easily, but it is awkward to store off the camera. The addition of a battery grip changes the feel (weight) of the camera; if you have smaller hands, you may not like the feel for casual use. On the other side, if you have large hands, it's a great addition. I have mixed feelings about my actual need for the grip. The Ti2 is built as a lightweight DSLR and is great for travel. For casual/travel shooting the grip stays in the bag; but for sports photography with a large zoom lens it has been a great addition.

The Flashpoint Professional Power Battery Grip for the Canon EOS Rebel T2i, T3i, T4i, T5i & 550D Cameras is an optional but essential accessory with excellent ergonomics designed specifically for the Canon EOS T2I/T3I/T4I 550D.
Featuring intelligent links to camera functions, matching the design and feel of your camera while doubling the battery power with a twin cell chamber that can load a choice of one or two battery packs. This is especially useful when taking advantage of the camera's Movie mode or Live View mode - operating modes that use more power compared to using a single LP-E8 pack. In addition, with the included battery magazine, you can also run the camera off six AA batteries.
The non-slip rubberized grip offers perfect balance in any direction with full vertical shooting controls, which can be independently turned on or off as the photographer needs to enhance camera handling, especially for shooting vertical pictures - not videos, please. The grip has generous operating controls as well: shutter button, Main Dial, multi-controller, AF point selection button, AE lock/FE lock button, AF start button, and multi-function button. The base of the grip has a standard 1/4-20 tripod socket and a hand strap mount. Your camera's original battery door fits snugly in a protective hidden slot for instant retrieval.
