I love this little camera, except trying to keep it from slipping from my hand. Great photos, even in low light, very good battery life, and it really does fit in my pocket. I've only had it about a month, and can say, so far so good. Great camera for the price and with a 1 year warranty! I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great, fun to use camera. Cheap with better quality. It's sleek and chic figure makes it easier to use. The simplicity of it makes it even more beautiful. It just, has exactly what anyone could want in a camera in a small, beautiful figure.

We have 6 of these refurbished powershots 300 hs in are family, the f.2.7 lens makes it a great low light shooter. I just love the canon color it has in all the pictures.Movie mode I use 720P at 30 fps to get nice smooth movies.In still pictures I use program mode, P mode you get 3.4 frames per second with out the flash on. In program mode push the menu button once and then sit the A F frame to center and that gives you more controll over focasing than you have in auto mode.The 300 HS is a very capable camera. To get better pictures you would have to go to a G 15, S100, S110. I might add the the shippingwas very fast...

This camera takes blurry pictures, even when you’re holding the camera still. I have owned a Canon Power Shot in the past and the pictures were crisp. Not on this Canon Model A4000. The video feature is easy to use but when you move the camera to follow a subject the video is blurry.

I have the EOS550D but it's, um, a little big to carry around all the time. Then I saw a competition winning shot in a photography magazine and it was taken by the ELPH300HS, and I thought, okay... checked out the price, that was good too. I LOVE THIS CAMERA. It is with me always. I have taken some of the best pictures of my photographic career with this little camera. Technology has become so amazing, and now I'm looking @ this site for a camera for my nephew who is about to go on his first trip to Europe...

This is a great snapshot camera. Like all cameras in its class it works best outdoors or any situation with lots of light. Canon's point and shoot line are great and have good image quality compared to other P&S cameras. it is not a DSLR by any means, but I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a decent camera around for family shots. macro feature is nice too.

Easy to use small and compact. Great video capabilities with the wide angle lens. For the money you can't go wrong with this camera. No,it's not a pro camera with all the whistles and bells, it is that little fun camera you put on your pocket and go. For the most part I leave the camera on auto and let it do its job and it works, of course you have to understand the basics of lighting and composition. Don't expect the camera to do miracles for you. Enjoy it and have fun

I am impressed with the quality of low light pictures. I paid [$] on cyber Monday for this camera and wasn't expected to get this quality low light pictures from a small camera.

I use it for every day pictures both indoor and outdoor. I love the slow motion functionality. Videos are in 1080p resolution.

I have been very happy with this camera. My only issue is we were at Longwood Gardens recently and I used the auto mode to take pictures of my kids and the kids looked blurry on a lot of the pictures. Next time will use the kids/pets feature. The close-up pictures that I took of the flowers were amazing! The night pictures got pretty good on the nightshot setting. I wanted a camera that was not so heavy or that I could carry in my pocket that took good pictures. I am happy with my purchase!

The wide angle, is pretty good; replaced a sony WX-1 that the lense retractor failed, the image quality is similiar, expected better low light performance. Wish that it charged thru the usb port when plugged into the computer.

I got this to accompany my DSLR when I travel. I love shooting with my Canon Rebel but don't always feel like carrying it. This camera did a great job on a recent trip to Ireland. Great scenery shots and excellent low light shooting. For the price it's a great little camera. Battery life isn't the best, but I always carry a back up so I haven't had a problem.
