The case is light and compact and fits the camera well. It looks like it will protect the camera from bumps, and allows the straps to function normally.

I love Canon and their products, so I was especially unhappy with this case. It is not FITTED at all. It is a case made for several different Canon camera models, and apparantly most are larger than the SX50 it was purchased to protect. Canon added a "cushion" to use as a spacer, to take up the extra slack. This is unlike anything I've ever experienced from Canon, which made this purchase extra disappointing.

I really liked the design and simplicity of case; BUT, it is listed as a case suitable for the Canon SX50 HS. It is not, especially if you purchase and use the filter adapter. I would recommend this case for smaller Canon models but definitely not the SX50.

I use this bag as an everyday carry and storage case for my camera.. The cool thing about it is that the camera can stay on its strap which integrates into the case...

This is a good, well fitting, compact camera cover that is easy to use. Must remove camera completely to use. There is no storage for things like charger, extra memory cards, manual etc. So, if you buy this cover and want a place for all the extras you should consider another larger bag as well.

The case is fine for protecting the camera but the way it is attached to the strap makes it clumbsy to access the camera and take a picture.

The case is difficult to keep attached to the camera when taking pictures. There are no pockets for an additional memory card and/or battery.

This product is great for just transporting my SX30is from one place to another when I want to keep it safe from damage. There are times when all I want is my camera and nothing else. If I want to carry accessories, I have a bag that holds my flash , camera and other equipment. Just be advised that this case holds my Canon and nothing else. It fits my needs perfectly.

I have owned many film 35 MM SLR cameras (Nikon, Pentax, Canon) and the fitted OEM cases worked great. This is the first digital "35 MM" type camera I have purchased and thought the fitted Canon OEM case would be the best. Not only does it not fit the camera well (contrary to the description), but if you try to fight to make it fit you risk dropping the camera. I returned it. I don't know why the manufacturer thought they had to reinvent a design that has worked well for decades, and now does not work. I ended up purchasing a generic case that fit.

Contains a piece of "stuffing" with Velcro that I have no idea of its use. Maybe I should know but don't.

Most of the camera bags are just that..BAGS. But this is a cover and fits perfict..To carry around.
