I upgraded from my Rebel xs to this - it's a great entry level SLR. I mainly upgraded for the higher ISO and the video function and so far I'm glad I did. My only complaint is that the shutter is a bit noisy.

I really enjoy using this camera. I used it yesterday (5-12-14) to take pictures while hiking Crabtree Falls. The pictures turned out better than expected. If you are looking to move up from a simple click and shoot and want better picture quality and more options, this is the way to go.

So far pictures look great, captures motion very well. Easy to use and good price. Only con is that there is no driver for Windows 7 64 bit, but we ended up buying a USB flash drive which was not expensive and works well.

The camera was purchase for a high school friend that I hadn't seen from the time we graduated till our 30 class reunion. We had become facebook friends and I noticed that she had an eye for photograpy even though she was only using her phone. She was taking many photos at first so I encouraged her to start shooting more. Once she was hooked I promised her that I would get her first DSLR. She has been beaming from ear to ear and if you saw this smile you would know that alone was worth her weight in gold.

I am totally happy with the service and product I recieved at adorama, The salesman was informative and the Camera is exactly like new , just at a better price. I bought this camera because I missed shooting thru an slr and was on a budget. The pictures and features are amazing . The 3 fps winder is a lot of fun and have done some sequence shoots already. I might move to a higher model later but this takes great pictures. Thanks

Canon T3 is my first SLR camera. This is a great value. DSLR cameras are bigger and heavier, but the T3 feels comfortable in my hands. The quality of the photos are very nice. I have the 18-55 kit lens and bought a 50mm lens. I would definitely recommend this camera for first time DSLR users and someone on a budget. A good camera setup at a good price. And Canon has many lenses to choose from.

This is exactly what I was looking for. After receiving the camera, I had my daughter check it out, as she is into photography, she was surprised. The camera looked just like it was new not refurbished. Since I received the camera I have only been playing with it to learn more about it, so far I have not one complaint.

I purchased this to put in a photobooth and it works well enough for this purpose. I wanted to up the ISO to 3200 and keep the aperture around 5.6-8/f but at 3200iso the images are just not looking good. It performs well in all other areas and does what I need it to do. It's not a spectacular camera but it's also one of the oldest in Canon's lineup.

Using this camera in an industrial setting, fixed above a waterjet machine. It's reliable, simple to set up and cheap. Image quality is adequate, although suffers quite badly at higher ISOs.

I love it, it's the best camera I've ever had. The only complaint I have is that one evening in my house, I was trying to take pictures in low light of a birthday celebration, and it seemed to take a lot longer to focus and snap the picture that it should have. Otherwise, it's a great camera. I am having so much fun capturing just the pictures I want with beautiful focus.

I purchased this camera for my 14-year old who has shown a big interest (and some surprising creativity) in photography. I wanted something that was more than a point-and-shoot so that she could learn to do all sorts of different things, since she really likes to add "her own magic" as she puts it, to the photos she takes. This was not a bank-buster, but also allows her to grow into the equipment as she grows into what she wants to do. It's simple for her to use and lightweight enough she isn't carrying a boulder around her neck. And it produces awesome shots with standard settings and has been simple enough for her to experiment with. Definitely a winning combo of qualities.

I bought the T3 as I switched over from Nikon, just to hold me over until I could come up with the money for a better body. Already it is better than my intro Nikon (D60) with higher ISO performance and the color profile is a bit warmer in general. Paired up with a nice, fast lens you will have a solid kit (not the lens that was included... I tested it once with that lens and switched to a much faster one). It's super light, and having all controls on the right side makes it easy to change settings on the go. I have only had it for about two weeks, and can't find anything that I don't like yet.

For years I have been using Canon cameras, but have held off upgrading to digital. Well after 30 years I did and regret that I didn't do it sooner. It was a great deal and it was priced in a range that I couln't pass up. Canon has always produced excellent products and continues to do so. The refurbished camera looks and funcions as good as a brand new camera. Anyone holding back on going from film to digital, stop wasting your time a take the next step up to digital. You will not regret it. Canon makes and excellent product and Adorama is a great company to do business with for all your camera needs.

I recently ordered this for my stepdaughter who was in the market for her first DSLR camera. The price savings of the refurbished model was too good to pass up. The camera appears brand new. The only discernible difference is the plain white box it came in which was labelled 'Canon refurbished'. Who cares about the box anyway? The T3 is a highly-rated starter DSLR and can't be beat for the price.
