I have tried many, many different papers and, for the past year, have chosen this one for the prints that I submit to competitions. It is superb for both color and monochrome images.

Nothing not to like about this paper. Great colors and deep blacks.

My experience with this paper is B&W only. The best inkjet paper I have used for fine art display prints. D max is greater and mid grey tone curve is easier to control then Epson's Exhibition Fiber paper. Retains highlight detail better than EF. The surface is just right as a low sheen glossy. Very expensive I only print on it for display or portfolio.

As long as you download the ICC profile for this paper and your printer, you will be pleasantly surprised. This renders images beautifully without any type of color cast. Black and whites especially look amazing. It has a nice soft glow about it - not crips and shiny like a metallic or high-gloss paper. I used it to print black and white landscapes and I also tested it out with vibrant colors from a fashion shoot. For the fashion image, it was soft and didn't render all the detail in the eyes like a crisp high gloss or metallic would but it was beautifully soft. I think this would be a good fit for portrait or wedding photographers.

This paper has the deepest d-max I've ever used. Contrast and colors are exceptional. It has a nice weight. It is my new go to exhibition paper.

I have always been a fan favorite of the Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper, but this Epson Legacy Baryta Paper is now my new go to paper. Do to the expense, I bought the 8.5" x 11" to test it out and I just immediately fell in love with it. The surface is so smooth and I find I don't need to make as many, or if any tonal or brightness adjustments as I did with the Exhibition Fiber Paper. Post printing, the longer the photograph sits, the better it looks. The next step is to buy the 17" x 22" paper. I'm in!

So far it's the best archival digital printing paper I've ever used.

In collaboration with the world's greatest artists, these unique papers were developed for those who intend to sell their prints to both art collectors and investors.
Working with famous European paper makers, art galleries, and chemical engineers. Epson ensured the Legacy Paper line to be the finest paper available.
As a result, Epson Legacy Papers produce outstanding black density and color fidelity - along with exceptional archival properties required for high-end photographic fine art printing.
Legacy Baryta
Legacy Baryta is a traditional baryta paper with a white, smooth satin finish. There are two barium sulphate coatings with an industry leading microporous inkjet receptive layer that produces deep, rich blacks (Dmax),expanded color gamut and gentle tonal gradations. This paper delivers the look and feel of the revered silver halide F-surface darkroom papers and will provide excellent image permanence.
