Very good for still pictures, but awful for video. I bought it for video, only to be horrified to see that it was extremely denoised by default, so everything looked as if it was painted in watercolors. Worst quality than a cellphone. Using the denoise menu to reduce denoising did NOT work for video, apparently that setting (and other settings about image quality) was for stills only. The manual did not mention which settings are applicable to video too (because there are some that are, and some that aren't), so I bought that camera, tested it, and then I had to return it. Video was really bad, and it had no reason to be so bad. This sensor was capable of much better quality.

I won't call myself an expert in photography but this camera worked really well for us. It takes nice crisp close-up and standard distance pictures. It was really easy to setup and not complicated to understand. It does not have a view finder but we have really no issues with it since the screen is nice and bright. Putting on lenses is very easy and battery life is really good. Definitely a good buy for someone looking for a good Mirrorless camera and not pay an arm and a leg for it.

This is a very promising camera..bought this as a backup...but seems like this may get me into fuji ecosystem. Video quality is not great but seems like a solid RAW and jpeg performance for photos.

First I want to say I love this camera.It’s very lite and have a retro look to it.It feels like a old school Fujifilm camera.I love the display that can flip out.The stock lens it comes with is alright.Video isn’t bad but it’s only limited in time you can film. Also no external mic but the build in mic doesn’t do so bad.I would recommend to newer dslr and mirrorless owners. It’s a bargain device.

Nice camera design and weight. I was under the impression you could use this without connecting to bulky lense to it, but you can not. Other flaw I have found so far is sometimes the wireless connection part doesnt connect to the phone app sometimes. Takes very good pictures and has a lot of settings I have yet to try. I have had canon cameras before and this seems to give me equally nice results thus far.

Fuji X a3 is an excellent camera. Super easy to use, light weight, crisp and clear picture with more details.. I really love this camera...definitely worth the money... Adorama service is excellent.. I got the camera next day of my purchase, though I didn't opted for that..

Its a great Camera! for Both Beginner and Professional. The quality of the images are great. Love the mirrorless. Con: There is a few sec delay. Also, using a Dslr for many years, going to mirrorless feels awkward. However, getting used to it! :D

Read negative reviews but thought I'd try a special deal. Thought I would get an "out of stock" message but I was greatly surprised. Camera was sent very quickly with NO issues. It was new not refurbished and in it's original package. I would buy from them again. One last note , I went back to the site and they quickly had put up an out of stock so I got lucky and they didn't try to con any buyers.

Keeping in mind that this is a lightweight travel oriented camera, it is nearly perfect. The build quality is quite high, solid, nice weight to handle all day. The image quality is almost as good as my DSLR (Nikon D7200). I love the colors Fuji gets. And it does very well in low light. The menus are not as bad as some have said. And the ability to do manual shot settings is a plus. There's a lot of flexibility here, much more than "pocket" cameras. The available lenses are very limited, but there's enough out there to cover everything from wide to tele. It's a Keeper!

This camera exceeded my expectations. I use it to photograph my artwork. I have a DSLR which has a viewfinder, but the photos it took were a bit soft. I could have tried that camera with a different lens, but I wanted to try a mirror less camera, especially a Fuji, as I, frankly, wanted a new "toy." I learned that for my purpose, a viewfinder was something that I didn't need anyway, so this camera suits my needs just fine even without a viewfinder. And the lens is very sharp, or at least much better than what I had on my old camera. I kind of was expecting this camera to feel lightweight and cheap with less features than what I had on my old camera, but was I wrong. It has features than I wasn't expecting, like white balance bracketing, which can also be used while using the ten second timer to avoid camera shake, something very valuable for my needs which was something that I didn't have before. And it seems pretty solid as well. No regrets at all.

Ive been into photography for a while, but I have only used fully automatic cameras that have fixed lenses. This is my first mirrorless and manual camera and I'm loving it so far. The photographer can truly customize the shot with the amount of setting and adjustments available to you. What also makes this camera great for people transitioning, is that if you ever feel overwhelmed with controls you can just switch the camera into full automatic. I'm loving the way my portraits are turning out!

I recently purchased this camera (having switched from a Canon DSLR.) I love many of the features (size, weight, filters, intuitive settings) and the quality of images is fantastic. One thing that is a little challenging is not having a viewfinder, especially on bright sunny days, it's impossible to see the LCD screen. There is a solution to this which I just purchased (it is an adaptive accessory which creates a "hood" around the screen and gives you a viewfinder.) The only other thing I can say is that I did have to return my original purchase as it was malfunctioning (it appeared to be a lens sensor issue where the screen kept flickering constantly- you can find info on this issue online.) Adorama was great about the return and had a new one to me in no time (which was great because I had waited a significant amount of time for the original which was on backorder from Fuji-film.) I am hoping that this issue will not repeat itself with the replacement and that I will continue to love this camera.

I LOVED this camera but as much as I loved it, I am sending it back.?? I am in an intro photography class and I found that I really need a viewfinder. If you are mostly going to use auto settings you will likely love it. If I could have added a viewfinder I would have kept it. I will be purchasing another Fijifilm camera with a viewfinder... meaning more money. I was very sad to Lose it, it was cute, easy to manipulate and understand. Great quality photos. ??
