This mini PC is the perfect form factor for a desktop computer. Operates seamlessly when paired with an HP display monitor. However, I recommend that you remove the "bloatware" that can come installed on this PC. Once the bloatware is uninstalled, this PC is fast and reliable.

I love my new HP Elitedesk 800 G5 Small Form Factor desktop computer. It is fast and a big improvement over my old one and I feel that I got a lot of computer for what I paid for it and I am very pleased with it. The computer arrived on time and was as advertised with one exception, which cost it a rating star in this review. The Adorama website information about this computer indicates that it comes equipped with an sd card reader and even lists the various sd cards it can read. However, the computer came without an installed card reader and I found out from another review that HP only puts card readers in computers that are built to order and requested. I am a photographer and frequently download images into my computer so the lack of a card reader is probably more of a big deal to me than most people. Even though it is a cheap and simple solution to simply plug in a USB card reader, the cable and reader add to the unwanted clutter on my desk. I will be replacing the wired keyboard and mouse with wireless ones and will be adding a webcam but this doesn't reflect on the computer.
