Great bang for the buck

Bang for the buck is the theme of this system. Don't get me wrong, it is not a gaming PC by any stretch of the imagination. However, this is a business PC that serves it's function very well. It is faster than expected. The form factor is surprisingly compact. Some of these were placed onto a desktop, and some on the VESA mount for the monitor. Both options are very unobtrusive. Paired with a wireless keyboard and mouse, the cable management is a dream. Honestly, these far exceeded my expectations.

Good product -- Poor tech support

We have purchased similar desktop minis from HP in the past and things have gone smoothly. However, during the process of setting up this computer we needed to contact tech support and, after long waits on two occasions the support reps just hung up the phone rather than continue the conversation.

Good mini PC for office work

We have this machine mounted on a wall using a small monitor VESA mount as a boardroom PC. Runs all our different video conferencing and office applications without any issues. Is is quiet enough that you can't hear it running in the room and doesn't heat up. Also has Displayport and HDMI both available so can be used on a monitor for the presenter and a large screen TV for the rest of the room.

Good machine

I was thinking about getting a Z2 as a test platform but picked up one of these on sale with the basic options (i3/8GB/standard SSD/DP flexport). I picked up 64GB of cheaper 3rd party RAM plus a LAN flex port (the 2020 works with this model?really wish HP would advertise these and sell them?I had to get them from CDW) and the drive bay. Long story short, I now have a nice little PC where I can run a handful of VMs. Now I just have to find the time to set it all up.

poor performance

I have purchased 2 prodesk models since start of the year, both have unexplained glitches, icons disappear completely randomly or pictures vanish. Been unable to figure out, everything from factory restore to replacing hard drive to buying a second model has not corrected whatever is wrong.

Problems with downloading and starting PC

I purchased this new PC for my business and immediately had issues downloading my companies software and establishing a remote session with my IT help. It ended up costing me ~ $200 out-of-pocket to get the issue resolved. From what I was told there was a firewall initially set up that was blocking me from downloading the software I needed to run my business. I didn't have this issue when I purchased the almost exact PC a year ago in December 2018.
