Great card reader
This card reader does exactly as promised. It's compact, build quality is top notch, has cords for PC or Apple, and transfers my photo data quickly from cards to my MacBook Pro or external SSD.

Gets EXTREMELY HOT
I received this as a kit component when I purchased my R5. The Lexar CF reader gets extremely hot when transferring data. I have tried it 3 times with the same result. I cannot recommend this CFExpress card reader.

Well worth the money
Awesome product, very fast and easily reocognized by MacOS. Transferred large files to the desktop in about 10min where my older sony reader just stuck in limbo

Good Solid CFExpress Reader
Works great on MacBook Pro with USB-C ports. It's a USB 3.2 device and works well on newer machines ports but computers with the older pre USB-C ports cannot keep up with it so it will appear to be slow but that's the computer not the card reader. Has a solid feel and a foam ring on the base that helps keep it from being tossed around every time a cord is wiggled. However weight and size make it less portable so my MacBooks bag gets the small reader while the Lexar will be the desktop reader. The style looks incredible among the clutter that accumulates around my computer LOL.

No issues
Product was exactly as advertised, looked exactly like the pictures and worked great. I did end up returning due to my own ordering error. I was initially skeptical of this site, but have ordered many very expensive items since, and have always had a fantastic experience.

Different
The CFExpress was new to me with my Nikon Z6ii so I bought a card with this reader. Having used cameras with the different types of cards and this being the newest form I was expecting it to operate the same but faster. That was not my experience. It works a little differently in Lightroom and it seems notably slower. The difference in operation is no biggy but I?m confused why it seems slower. Maybe with more experience it will be different for me.

It comes with the Card.
The Lexar CF Express came with the CF card, the cable is included. It operates well and I do not know much about CF cards. I have no way of measuring how fast it downloads. MP4 are very slow to download photos are three times faster to download. Only had it for 3 weeks so far. Definitely it is operational.

Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Exceeded my expectations. Well built, extremely fast. I couldn't ask for more. The price was steep in my opinion, but after seeing and using the product, it was money well spent.

It works, it's fast, but it gets worryingly hot even if you're not transferring. To get around this, I transfer and eject immediately, I don't want to cook anything.

Piece of plastic junk
Piece of plastic junk. One of my 128G CFexpress cards got stuck in this reader. I had to break the reader to get to my very expensive CFExpress card. Do not buy.

Must be DOA
Might be DOA...plugged it into USB2.0 and 3.2 ports and nothing....ports are good cause XQD reader plugged into same ports works fine...wouldn't recommend this particular unit...

This thing is HOT!
The data transfer is fine. It gets very hot and the plastic expands locking the card in until it cools.

Gets the job done
This card reader was included with a 64 GB CfExpress card. The card works as expected and the reader is fast and reliable. My only complaint is it gets hot in use. After transferring about 20 GBs, the ejected card was too hot to hold. Other than that, so far so good. Definitely worth it if you?re looking for a card and reader.

Works as advertised.
This card reader works as expected. If I were to make any critical comments, I would say that I wish it had a small LED to show that it was plugged in... or at least a small one to show when it's being ejected by the computer. (i.e., like the Sony XQD reader)
