I bought an expensive camera and this so called strap came with it. First time using my camera and the junk left loose and camera and zoom dropped to sidewalk. NOT HAPPY. Nikon could do better. Damage to new camera and lens.

This strap came with my d3100, so I really had no choice in which strap I could get. But for an out-of-box strap, Nikon offers a good product. My only concern would be that when putting the strap on yourself, and occasionally throughout photo shoots it always leaves you putting down the attachment pieces because they stick up. But its just a minor annoyance that is only noticeable after shooting for a while. But other than that it seems comfortable(and also very adjustable)and of good quality!

This is a no-frills, totally serviceable strap. To me, it feels secure, stays on my shoulder, and is not overly uncomfortable around my neck. A secure detaching mechanism would be a plus, and earn another star.

The strap needs a 360 degree spinner at camera body attachment. Then it would not feel like it is binding on your neck, as it does now.

Needed a new strap for a old Nikon EM I bought. This really works well. Good product for the money. Doesn't 'strap' your budget too much either.
