Compact with issues

Pros: Very compact lens, essentially little larger than a body cap. Fast aperture, and the 28mm equivalent focal length is versatile (see the Leica Q1,2, and 3). Cons: sharp in the center, but strong color fringing off axis. Too strong, at least on an Olympus body, to fully correct in Adobe Lightroom.

Great little lens for day-to-day documentation

I like it very much. Its small size, quiet and fast AF is great combination. Mounted on smaller camera (Panasonic GX85 in my case) is perfect life and day-to-day documentation setup. Its easy to have around me all the time and it produces very nice pictures. I do not see any optical performance issues with the lens and I like the colors it produces together with my camera.

Great all around lense.

I only recently got into using an actual camera vs my phone camera when out. This lense is great because of how small it is, while also taking great pictures. It's small enough to easily carry around in a small bag, and it's been great with photos in pretty much any situation. Out while hiking, the landscape pictures look amazing, and while out at night it picks up enough light to blow night sight out of the water. I'm sure there are way better lenses, but at $200 I'm very happy with this one.

Feels Like A Toy Lens, But It's Not

I've never owned a lens this small and compact, and if anything, I'm afraid I'm going to lose it. It almost feels like a toy lens, but it is no toy and takes good pictures. No complaints about it. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of pics, sufficiently sharp, and definitely easy to carry around.

Great for street photography

The 14mm lens is great for shooting street photography. It has great depth of field which is something many want for shooting the street. I used it when the Democratic National Convention was held in Charlotte. Crowds of people everywhere and using this lens on a Lumix body I never missed a shot. I often use this lens in uptown Charlotte because it is so sharp and fast to focus. I shot for two weekly news papers for over 10 years, this is one of the best lens that I have ever owned.

Excellent travel companion

The combination of wide angle, low light capability, small size and great image quality, makes this the perfect lens for traveling light. Its size makes even my DMC-G5 pocketable. The wide angle and large aperture is perfect for capturing indoor architecture as well as outdoor panoramas.

very small, sharp, light, & relatively inexpensive

When I was looking for a wide-angle prime lens, this one topped my list. At f/2.5, it's not the fastest; but it is a lot less expensive than alternatives in the 12-15mm range for micro four thirds. And being sharp at f/2.5 and very sharp at f/2.8-5.6, it isn't compromising. That said, as with many lenses, there is sample variation with this one. Some copies are better than others. I haven't noticed any flaws with my copy: good centering and sharpness across the frame, good color and contrast... This isn't the best lens you can get. However, it's pretty much equal in image quality to the best sub-$800 zooms I've used at 14mm. While the zooms are a much better value, this lens beats those with its f/2.5 max. aperture and pocketable size and weight. When I want a small set of primes for low-light or discrete photography, this one always comes along and never disappoints me.
