Weird Black Bars
The lens has a weird double black bar on the videos, as well as a scratch on the glass of the lens which was not mentioned either. Seems like a great lens but my experience is bad with this specific seller </3

My favorite prime lens for videos

Still I didn't use it.
I didn't even seen the lens!
I ordered it for my daughter, who is living in another country.
She have received it, but she didn't utilize it yet.
In December we will get together and I will be able of doing a deep testing of the lens and only then I will be in the condition of writing a serious rating of it.

Nice lens
I wanted a prime in this range for portrait and distance photography. This one seemed to fit the bill, it fit my cameras and was slightly cheaper than the equivalent Olympus. I was pleasantly surprised how compact it is, light and small.

Excellent lens
very sharp and fast, really versatile with 31 cm minimum distance and clear details it allows macro focusing as well as being a great portrait lens. The size is idea and totally useful for many situations indoors and out. Both auto and manual focusing work quite well and it has a quiet motor for videos.

Little lens creates BIG BEAUTIFUL RESULTS
This little lens gives a BIG BUNCH. Last night I used it for a Quinceanera in Bakersfield and I got moneys worth and more. At first I thought....really then I realized WOW this lens KICK BUTT. Long story short I am VERY HAPPY with lens. I used it with my G95....LOVE IT

Great performance
I had this and the 40mm pancake lens in my wishlist. Recently there was a $100 discount on this lens and for $150 I went for this one. I can not compare it to the pancake but for the price I paid I am very happy. It is sharp wide open and relatively small and light.

Good value, but the Leica 25mm 1.4 has better rendition
Pros: Lighter weight, closer focus, cheaper than the Panasonic Leica (PL) 25mm F1.4.
Con: Color rendition, contrast, image fidelity and sharpness not as great and the PL 25mm F1.4.
Even: Autofocus speed for both are about the same, not enough difference to choose one over the other.
Good value, but if absolute image quality is needed, get the PL 25mm F1.4.
