KATA's TCCT meets the strict new airline regulations for carry on bag size. And it's modularity means that when you land it adapts to hold your fully assembled camera in everyday use. The TCCT holds the camera with the battery removed; in some cases the viewfinder must be removed and with extremely large cameras the lens must be removed as well.

The disassembled parts go into padded pouches in the case. To expand the case to its working position, the TCCT has a compartment that lengthens the case and a side compartment that makes it wider. Like the turtle's shell, the case and the extended compartments are padded and rigid at the same time, to protect their delicate contents.
