I am sure that pro photographers may not agree with my choice of films but, I have always had a lot of success photographing people and swamps or landscapes in general. These films like the kodak E100G and the kodak 64t have served me great for more then thirty years and with these two films primarily I shot over eighty four rolls of 35mm and 120mm during and after hurricane Katrina as I live 40 miles N of New Orleans & 11 miles from gulf coast, and ALL EIGHTY FOUR ROLLS came out great.(in those conditions try another film and good luck)

I started using this as a replacement for Kodachrome and am very satisfied with the results. I've been shooting both 35mm (Nikon F3) and 120 (Mamiya RZ) mostly for outdoor work and am nothing but impressed. I've done some non-scientific, side-by-side comparisons to Kodachrome and I believe this product actually produces more accurate color. Highly recommended and I hope Kodak will continue to make this.

I've been busy using it with a Mamiya RZ67 and I have been extremely satisfied with the results. I had tried a number of different films including the Portra and Velvia series. The E100G slide film is accurate, but it also brings vibrance as well. Well saturated reds, wonderful blue gradiated skies and lovely greens. Unlike Velvia it produces very good skin tones with outside light. When I used Velvia everything looked good, but skin tones were darkened and way too red. It also feels like the E100G has way more exposure latitude than the Velvia or even Portra. I can't be certain of this, but all I know is I love the results so far. I've shot about five rolls and couldn't be happier.
