Only problem I have is a broken eye relief cup, which doesn't change the quality of the image, but affects how I use them with or without glasses. Hopefully I can get that fixed soon. HUUUUUGe step up from what I had before from a different reputable manufacturer. The image is clear enough that my own eyesight is the limiting factor. They hold focus when repeatedly using them at the same distance (shooting range) and focus easily when moving between distances. I am now a believer in Leupold quality.

I'm really more of an avid plane spotter than anything else, so I got these mainly to observe planes, but also for travel purposes to watch wildlife and views from far away cliffs. Before I'd gone for less expensive higher powered binoculars, but becoming frustrated with the quality and performance, went with these. I'm amazed at the difference that the optical quality of these makes. The clarity and detail I can see through these 10x42s basically makes almost every binocular I've ever used before irrelevant. Though not particularly light, they're surprisingly comfortable for long periods of use, and the distortion free image makes these binoculars outstanding, even in low light or nighttime situations with artificial light. The focus is easy, even, and quick to get a crystal clear image, even of objects over a kilometer away. For closer objects, the detail is as if it were in front of me. Delighted with the product is almost an understatement.

Incredible! I have been on the Hunt for a sub $1000 bino! I currently own Nikon Monarchs, Vortex Vipers...and returned a Bushnell Legend series binocular. My father has a Set of 10 year old High End German glass and these are possibly better. My hunting buddy purchased a set of BX1 10x42 Leupold Binoculars and I was blown away at how good they were for the money. The compared with my higher priced glass which I believed to be good until I purchased these. I have had all afield and none that own own even come close to edge crispness, low light conditions or that sun in your face glare issue! Amazing Job Leupold on this glass! This is hands down best bang for buck I have found! I have returned 3 other pairs of glass under $1000 bucks that can not touch these! The search is over! If you want a reasonably priced High End binocular look no further! Thinking of ordering a set of BX2 Tioga HD 12x50 binoculars for those long glassing days at Elk Camp! Excellent Product

I recently purchased the Tioga HD 8x42's, which I've been using daily for a little over 2 weeks now. They offer a very crisp view, and in terms of optics quality, I would say they're pretty comparable to the Mojave's. They also have a rugged build without too much overkill, and I personally think the new Shadow Grey look is a refreshing change. They also come with a nice padded neck strap that is extremely usable—and a very snazzy looking tan & grey storage case, however it's a bit of a tight fit so there might not be much practical use for it in the field. In other words, you have to collapse the binos every time you stow them, and in the reverse sense, you also have to reset the interpupillary distance every time you remove the binos from the case to use them. But hopefully Leupold will improve on fitment a bit more in the future because they're definitely on the right track with it. As far as the actual binoculars go though, the Tioga HD's seem to be pretty hard to beat in this price range.

Bought this product last fall and used it for a short time towards the end of hunting season. I have stored it in the case in my hunting cupboard till I needed them again this fall. I take them out of there case and lo and behold the eyecup where the extra focus point is, does not raise up properly and comes completely unscrewed, The binos are not entirely unusable but now I have to send in for warranty work and hunting season just started. Will have to wait till the season is over to deal with this but what a pain in the behind. I waited many years to buy what I thought was going to be my last pair of binos, sure hope this is not indicative of all Leupold products. Needless to say, will not be buying the scope I was looking at from Leupold and will be looking at other higher end brands now. Good Job Leupold thought I was going to be a lifetime customer but looks like I am one and done.

My new Tioga 10x42 are awesome, but I can't say enough about the commitment Leupold makes to its customers. When I need optics, Leupold will always be my choice.

I have a pair of these binos and they are crystal clear. I get no eye fatigue while using them and they focus on what your looking at very well. They also can take a pretty good beating. I have brought them on a couple elk hunts and they come with me on every other hunt I go on.
